Due to my lack of experience in fighting an opponent with such an exotic sword design I am felled by surprise at what it can do.

He challenges me to a dual. I fire a spell at him and he jumps out of the way. He disappears and I start laughing wickedly, thinking I've won. He run up behind me and stabs me in the back, straight through my heart. It turns out, my spell only singed his hair. No wonder why it smelled like burnt hair! xD

@Duchess: The green hints at a forest. The winters in my woods are not harsh as what Duchess has faced. What is a "good" day in her frozen world is too much for my body to adjust to quickly enough before dying of hypothermia.
