Don’t worry, the Trisphee NIMBYs (such as me) keep the Banner Ad rif-raff contained.

It’s not worth it to me to leave the ads up. They spew JavaScript errors constantly and often had malicious crap in them, even ones through Google. Even when I had ads on every page, we still made more money from Runes than the ads, and I would rather see the ad economy die in a fire.

...To that end, one of these days I’ll take it off the front page too.

That said, winning prizes helps. :P

oh, thank god. yeah, pretty much everyone hates adverts and adblock has essentially become a security tool because they don't vet their adverts for malicious scripts. there's a post on tumblr dot fuckeroons about it.
