Got call back to schedule interview, but realized I REALLY don't want another custodial job. I just applied because my friend kept pressing me to do it and I felt super panicked about my hours being significantly cut at my main job, which sucks, but if I am careful about my budget should be fine especially since I was given practically the max I can be at JoAnn the next 2 weeks (and we're getting into the busier season in the next couple months anyway...)

No Man's Sky does not work on this computer. It does, however, work on my laptop, and controlling the camera on a laptop is utter hell. It also feels rather clunky, but that might be bc I'm on a laptop with no divider between the left mouse button and the right mouse button.

I should also really get to doing roleplay threads on tumblr.

i do have a mouse somewhere, but it's a pain to lug the laptop, the laptop charger, my tablet and a drink downstairs to the dining room table.

mind you, i've also been sort of meaning to do some recording.

also there's a janky thing where i can't really tab out of the game that well, have to use the bloody windows button on the keyboard.

Mayall's Object or ARP 148 is the staggering aftermath of an encounter between two galaxies, resulting in a ring-shaped galaxy and a long-tailed companion. The collision between the two parent galaxies produced a shockwave effect that first drew matter into the centre and then caused it to propagate outwards in a ring. The elongated companion perpendicular to the ring suggests that Arp 148 is a unique snapshot of an ongoing collision. Infrared observations reveal a strong obscuration region that appears as a dark dust lane across the nucleus in optical light.

A lot like if Pennywise had his own spinoff series of movies, and he just did horrifying and frightening things with like cotton candy, or balloons or squeaky shoes in a super cartoony way.

also, NMS magically started working on the main computer, so now I'd rather play it down there -- reckon they've done some bugfixes. mind you, the graphics card drivers do need updating to play the game a bit better, but it works well enough for now!

driving a ship, though, i despise it immensely.
