There's a range limit, yes. I'm pretty sure the limit is longer than e.g. PokeStop radius, but I've never actually tried to see how far it is.

Yay! Got a special egg on my Derpy account! And then accidentally wasted a limited use incubator on a 2k egg. XP
I blame my current lack of sleep on that though.

Trades have to be within 100m I think?

What's worse on the incubators, when you only have 2km eggs.

I only get 5km except a few times I got 2 and 20....got two special hat pichus :D

I got the stupid Ditto!!!!

And a goth ratatta and he's awesome and I named him Splinter. Because that was important. Also I have an eggs slot!

So my Rhydon was in a gym for 3+ days and I got 18 coins out of it. Did they shift things? I thought it was up to 50 and then capped?

No luck much with gyms. Got two pokemon into gyms around here and they were both booted within the hour. Still got my Slowbro in one though. I'm noticing that gyms activity isn't showing in journal.

My Alolan Raticate is named "Ratigan". My wife thinks this is a perfect name.

None of mine are named but the eevees have a trick to the names IF YOU NAME THEM BY THE ORIGINAL TRAINERS NAMES THEY EVOLVE TO THE EXACT ONE YOU WANT

I'm tempted to try because my flareon could use a boost and I'm pretty sure that's the one I haven't used yet. Not sure though. I have an umbreon as well, but no espeon yet. Not sure if those are part of the regular eevee pool or special in some way.

Two KY eggs. Working on a 2k egg to open another slot, but it's too stupid hot out to actually walk anywhere. Blah. 1.3 k to go. Or, however it's actually calculated since Instinct is supposed to get some kind of egg bonus.

There seems to be a lot of Instinct around here, or a few die hard players. Yellow gyms abound! Mostly Valor out where I normally am, and Mystic in downtown when I actually get there.

Umbreon and Espeon are special. You have to walk 10km with Eevee as your buddy, get two candy from buddy-walking, and then evolve during the night (Umbreon) or day (Espeon) while it's still your buddy.

I meant 10

You can only get 50 coins a day from pokemon at gyms, but they must get kicked out, and if you got coins earlier in the day from a pokemon getting kicked out, the second one will give you the remainder of the 50 if it has been in a gym long enough.

They still have names though, for your first of each. Tamao for dark, Sakura for psychic.

'Bro came in with money! So I have another incubator for my long range eggs. :).

Eevees not all that common where you are, Giz?

Managed 2 streaks this month! Got an upgrade and a sunstone. That puts me at 4 upgrades, 3 metal coats, and 2 sunstones. Really?

Got my walrus buddy into a gym this afternoon. Made a special trip down the street to go put him there. Again, it's the gold badge gym. The people that live in the surrounding houses or go to the nearby school must be Instinct. It seems to hold the place down the bulk of the time.

LET ME TELL YOU MY ADVENTURES!

I caught one shiny saturday, got to the porch, suddenly got dizzy and was shaking...got the door unlocked and got inside....guess what happened from there.

Today? THREE SHINIES! A blister and hatched FOUR EGGS! And my shoes melted a bit each day. Plz send shoes.

Oh and maybe some sunburn both days lol

I need moar shiny eevees though

I held down a gym for 20 hours I was shocked I barely got in the gym cuz it was a driveby (my ride aint stopping lol) got lucky it was a red light then threw a random pokemon in fast before green light well the random one was my 600 Krabby Im like yeah he will die fast :( and well I guess that gyms slow because he lived 20 hours
