Thank you both!! I went to watch the fireworks for 45 minutes and it was absolutely gorgeous! I love the golden ones so much, I kinda wanna try making a skin or accent based around them for fun~

I'm actually shocked I haven't heard any at all..

normally people would start setting them off days early and it'd continue for like 2 weeks x-x

We've had people fire a couple fireworks once in a while throughout the last week, but I think that it's actually illegal or something to fire fireworks without a permit (besides for on new year's, of course) here?

Because we live near a small wooded area and lots of houses and stuff so its actually illegal to set off fireworks here with out a permit of any kind... no matter the holiday.

It's the same here. No fireworks without permits. Except sparklers. We can use those any time.

my apartment complex doesn't like sparklers ... prolly saw a vid i had up on MySpace (when it was popular) >w>,

My friend and I put sparklers on the ground making shapes and shiz... scorched the ground some x'D
