A: many. Better than that is when everyone piles together to make the biggest snowball we can manage. Biggest my siblings and I hit was about 6 feet diameter (we were all much shorter at the time) but we couldn't fit it through the gate to get to the front yard for more snow.

Hmm, I dunno about my actual favorite right now. I donate to a lot of charities. I've been donating to One Veteran, One Dog, Two Lives Saved lately.

A: don't think so, or not anymore, though my first knitting attempt was an arm warmer that I used for medical reasons in cold weather.
