Ronoro finally collecting all the tree branches, dropped them loudly with a grin of satisfaction. "Done!" he said happily.

The monk stopped for a moment. "What the.. what was that kid just doing?" he asked to himself as he tried to peek down below him to see what was going on.

The wind danced slowly and all the sudden there seemed to be a shape in the wind. The shape started to take form it looked like a bird soaring through the sky. It dived down just infront of Raxion and exploded into flames, "Hello Skrinix." Raxion said to the flaming bird that hovered infront of him.

Ronoro jumped back at Raxions little friend. "Aghhh!!! What the hell is that thing?!" he asked in bewilderment.

The monk sat up. "As I thought.. the boy who can control wind. Right, it's about time I got into action.." he said as he threw down a smoke pellet on the roof to get the boys attention. He ran throwing more pellets as he went, running towards the enclosed site with the small waterfall.

Raxion looked at the smoke that just started popping, "Well looks like our little friend from last night has shown himself again." He said as the bird merged with Raxions sword, "We would be foolish to follow." He added standing up.

Ronoro looked at his brother, still in shock with the phoenix that had appeared out of thin air. "Right.. well, um.. you're the strategist, what should we do? If we don't follow he'll probably only come after us." he asked with annoyance.

The monk stopped upon reaching the entrance of the small oasis. "Hmph, I think I'm underestimating the brat.." he said slowly, lighting a cigarette and smoking it calmly. "Hm.. maybe he needs a little encouragement to move?" the monk said with a slight smile as he merged the shotguns into a rifle and fired twice. Two small azure orbs shot forth towards the house, The orbs went over the house. stopped, and floated near Ronoro and Raxion.

"Skrinix!" Raxion said holding his blade out towards the two fireballs. The wind started picking up, circling around Raxion and Ronoro making a tornado like shield around them.

Ronoro again jumped back at the sight of the orbs and the shield placed around him. "Uhhhg.. why is it always us who gets the sociopaths.." he says whinedly.

The monk looked surprised at the wind shields. "This kids pretty damm crafty.. I'll just have to show him I'm not so easily detered!" he said annoyed. He made movements with his hands, controlling the orbs. He made the two orbs compress until there remained only an azure colored mist, which gradually shifted into a box perimeter around the area. The monk shifted his hand and made a open palm, causing the mist to turn back into azure flames. "Ha! With them boxed into my omnipotent flames, they're at my will!" the monk said with maniacal laughter.

Raxion smiled, "Well lets get out of here Ronoro," He said as the wind spinning around them faster started burrowing into the ground and they were suddenly gone.

Ronoro overwhelmed at everything happening so fast just heaved a sigh and drifted off for a nap. "You look like you have this all under control so... just wake me up when it's over.." he said tiredly.

The monk sneered at Raxions trick. "I've just about had enough of this kid..." he said exhaustedly. He compressed the barrier into eight flame orbs and had them go into the hole Raxion had caused. The monk then sighed. "Better go to their base and confront them since this isn't getting me anywhere..." he said half annoyed as he slung the rifle on his shoulder and walked to Ronoro and Raxion's house.

Raxion continued the tunnel until they popped up just slightly outside of the town. "Wake up Ronoro we are safe for now," Raxion said sheathing his sword.

Ronoro woke up, slightly dazed as he rubbed his eyes. "We escape death yet?" he asked half jokingly as he stood up and dusted himself off, looking at his surroundings.

The monk upon reaching the house sighed. "It never fails, does it?" he said irritatedly. He made movements with his hand, causing the orbs to find the path Ronoro and Raxion had taken. Upon reaching the two, each orb exploded into a thick azure mist, one by one. Then reforming back into orbs went back the way they came towards the monk. When they reached him, he grinned taking them into his hand. "I'll show him just who's the craftiest.. in this battle.." the monk said as he walked slowly back to the oasis.

"Follow me Ronoro," Raxion said climbing the wall of the tavern building in town. "We are going to stay on the top of this tavern building tonight." He added while scaling the building.

Ronoro shrugs his shoulders and with a great deal of agility, jumped unto the rooftop in one burst and sat down cross legged. He yawned still tired. "Do we have anything to worry about?" Ronoro said out of curiously.

The monk sat down cross legged near the small waterfall gathering his thoughts. (The mist my orbs collected contain those brats heat signatures.. that being said I'll be able to track their location at all times. Provided they don't lose body heat..) He laughed spontaneously at his own thought. "Now the real fun begins.." he said to himself aloud.

Raxion shrugged, "We dont know much about our attacker except that he is something we cant underestimate." He said softly, "I think he has underestimated us but at the same time he isnt being rash to just go full out... its like he is studying us and messing with us like its some game to him." Raxion said as he lay back looking up at the stars.

Ronoro looked up at the sky and thought for a while. He then turned back to his brother. "Do you think we could beat him a fight...?" he asked worriedly.

The monk rested by the oasis, waiting for the right moment to strike. (Seeing as they're in town, I could easily snuff them out but I couldn't risk those damned academy masters finding me. They'll have to leave that spot eventually. For now... I'll wait.." he thought to himself, gun by his side.

Raxion looked at his brother, "To be honest I can't tell you because we dont know enough." Raxion said, "But I wonder if we could talk to him, atleast see what this is all about." He said grabbing his sword and layed it over his lap. "Skrinix awaken..." The words softly escaped his lips. The wind rushed passed them and everything was quiet.

A slow glow penetrated the darkness flying passed the boys shelter into the forest. The glow found its way to the man at the oasis and hovered infront of him. The glow took form of a pheonix and landed on a nearby branch.
