Alicia cringed when she was picked up. "My house." She said still very weak.
Holden nodded at Solomon and Alicia. He teleported to Alicia's house across the street. "I should of taken Amanda with me. From this point on she will not leave my sight." He said as he gently laid Alicia down on the couch.
"I meant my house in England. It's not your fault Holden." She said cringing again.
"How can it not be my fault? She is my responsibility and I tossed her aside for cars." He said beating himself up.

"Listen, you have a lot going on right now you can't do everything and be everywhere at once. You may be a vampire but your not superman." She said slightly sitting up.
"I need to protect her, I can't believe I let this happen." He said rubbing his head. "Where is the council located?" Holden asked looking at Alicia.
"Hell no Holden you are not going to talk to the council. To them this matter would be considered 'frivolous'. Alicia said as he body started to heal.
