Holden entered the room and shut the door. Solomon's voice cut through his thoughts. "Oh no that's ok you need some rest I will find her." He said as he started to get dressed. After he was dressed he went downstairs to find Anne. She wasn't in the kitchen, "Hm she must be in the laundry room." He said as he went to the laundry room. He saw her loading the washer. "Hey Anne." Holden said as he leaned on the door jam.
Annie jumped. "Oh Holden you scared me a little." She said turning around and giving him a smile.
"I'm sorry, do you mind if I paint you right now? Solomon wont be mad at you, I promise." He said smiling back.
"Only if he doesn't get mad at me." She said as she walked over to Holden.
"Ah he wont, and if he does he will have to answer to me." He said with a laugh. He offered her his arm.
She laughed and grabbed his arm. "Aren't you just the gentleman." She said with a smile.
"It's just one of the things my father taught me." He said as he led her to his room.

After two and a half hours he put his paint brush down and turned it to Anne. "What do you think?" Holden asked with a nervous look on his face.
"Oh my Holden it's so beautiful, I have never looked so good before." She said clapping her hands together and keeping them together.
"I am sure you have, I just used the natural light to accentuate your features, that's why you are in front of the window." He said as he stood up.
"Oh it is just so fantastic." She said as she gave Holden a hug.
"Thank you, but your natural beauty helped make it better." He said hugging her back.

"Stop it your gonna make me blush." She said holding her cheeks.
Holden smiled, "You deserve to be called beautiful all the time." He said tilting his head.
"Stop it," She said gently slapping his shoulder. "I should get back to work, you are a great artist." She said as she left the room.
"Thanks." He said with a little laugh. "It feels good to bring a little light into someones day." He said as he sat on his bed looking at the painting.
