The man tumbled forward avoiding the dagger, but rolled to his feet, snapping his fingers igniting the air. A plume of red-orange finger rocketing towards Seth, glancing over Serus.

As soon as she heard the snap, her fight with Layla flash through her mind. She made herself as small as possible, her shield thankfully protecting her as the fire rolled over her towards Seth. She knew he'd be fine, so she wasn't concerned.

While the man was focused on Seth, she got to her knees, then pounced, tackling him to the ground, her hand piercing his throat. She expanded the air inside his body at his neck, severing it and eventually decapitating him.

After a moment, she stood, a bit paler than usual. She looked over to Seth with a weak smile, "Well..who knew there were elementals on the council. Heh." She got a bit weak at the knees, opting to sit on the floor. It was a close call. She would not have been able to form her shield in time. She was lucky to have had it up earlier.

Kitra sighed, "Go figure, you two get here and take all the fun out of it for us. You know, we were just fine, but thank you nonetheless. How's your arm Solomon?" She went over, inspecting the area where he lost the limb, "Eeww, that is just nasty. How long til it grows back, eh?"

He shrugged, "A couple days I guess. If you don't mind, I'm going to go get some fresh blood and relax. Have fun~" With that, the black haired vampire disappeared.
