If you don't mind me asking, which coast were you on?
I live a good hour away from the beach myself. Although, I am nervous about getting in the water here... Too much seaweed, and I worry about being pulled in deeper than I'd like to go.

Oh, I'm in Southern California, so the local beach I usually go to is either Manhattan beach or Venice beach. I usually only go to Manhattan though, there's better food there lol
