Of course it is, but not everyone enjoys that kind of gameplay. :P The ACTUAL point of an Animal Crossing game is to have fun decorating things and interacting with characters. In a good AC game, the grind only exists in service of that goal. The complaint appears to be that AC:PC makes the grind something of a goal in itself.
