That's what they looked like. There would be funny shapes, long, odd pieces, or the odd miss-cut I think. I had one piece that looked like someone had cut half a circle out of it, with the edge being only an inch or so wide, with a couple triangle-ish patches stuck to it.

the book i've started (The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O.) is a long one (700+ pages, but the font is a nice size), and it's due back at the library on 10/14. i wonder if i'll have to renew it....?
