heh, i know.

titles usually happen for me in one of four ways:

1*i have an awesome title already
2*i write a really cool phrase somewhere in the story and like it for the title. this happens anywhere from the first paragraph until the last paragraph
3*i struggle for a clever-sounding title and end up settling on something lame
4*someone else suggests a really cool one that i end up using.

in 2011, i got the title via #2 (and some of #4). in 2012 and 2013, it was #4. and in 2014, it was #2 again.
