Doesn't help me at all. It just gives me a headache and makes a mess. For the most part, nobody knows what to do about stopping hiccups; all of the folk remedies are just confirmation bias because hiccups usually go away on their own, so people think the last thing they tried is what fixed it.
What DOES help me is to drink soda. Not because it makes the hiccups go away, but because burping helps relieve the pain the hiccups caused.
