Well you can choose a bunch of different classes and a bunnch of different weapon types, anyone can be anything, so it'd be more accurate to tell your their weapon types. XD
First character; 1 Rapier user (main), 1 Longsword, 1 2-handed sword, 1 spear, 1 bow. Worked out alright. the longsword,spear, and 2-handed sword users can deflect attacks from other party members. :3 (cuz they have big weapons) and the bow user was skilled at hitting large groups of enemies.
everyone had healing and status recovery magic.
Second character; 1 bow user (main), 2 2-handed swords, 1 martial artist/spear user, and 1 mage.
I deviated a bit, since the previous combination worked out well, but I wanted to try other stuff. The mage was pretty awesome. They allow you to synthesize spells together in this game to make stronger ones, or the sam spell with a lower cost/higher dmg. x3 In this party, everybody but the spear user had attacks that hit all the enemies so random fights were pretty easy. x3
for my third character, I plan on having a similar group, only instead of a 2-H sword, a polearm. and instead of the spear, a rapier again.
only i'm ALSO going to use a whole new roster of characters. (i used 2 charcters from my first playthru in my second) so it'll be a nice new experience again. :3
