I mean, it made sense. We only had 10-15 required hours and four different groups, depending on what grade you were in. The groups were 1.) the mentally disabled, 2.) The elderly, 3.) children, and 4.) the poor. And then any sort of service that fell into those four categories (I had a special case) could count towards an award. I usually (unless I started late) did more hours than required...I actually reached over 100 hours during one year, volunteering at a museum. It was pretty fun.
I'm actually not a fan of carnival-y stuff. Now, Carnevale in Venice...that's a different story altogether.
Haha, well, I don't know if they were in trouble. I only rarely go to parties, and I don't make it my job to get drunk.
