He kept his cocky grin as the other seemed to glare at him. "Don't look at me in that tone when you know I'm right." He knew he was right, Mizuki hated to go even a few hours without bathing sometimes. It was amusing to see the other blow off all other things just to try to remain clean at all times. Though this little cockiness was just a mask. Things still had a ways to go before they were mended.

He didn't flinch however when Mizuki moved and seemed to rest his head against his shoulder. His mind thought about it, the first idea being to pull away he fought against as he stood there a moment before moving his arms to hug the other closer. He came back for this so why push it away now.

Laughing a little weakly at Mizuki's words he nodded slightly. "I think it's far to call it a little selfish... I'm not sure I mind though." Seeing as he had the same thought. Though he would not call it selfish with everything he had been through yet he still came back. Maybe he was asking for punishment in the long run. Who knows maybe he only returned because Mizuki had been the only person he found himself able to open up to and he didn't want to bother with someone else. Luna could also be right in saying his love will last through the ages as well.

A few moments passed and they just stayed there, not that he was going to complain. He half feared he had lost any hope of this happening after he ran off like that. Though the peaceful moment was short lived as Mizuki took his left hand that was still wrapped where Neimi had last treated it and seemed to cringe saying sorry once more.

Thalion was going to blow this off saying it would heal and it didn't hurt that bad, though that was a lie and Mizuki knew it. Though the other seemed to kiss the hand before carrying out the plan he had cooked up. Thalion knew the other had cast a spell as soon as it happened with the slight energy drain and with the other already being weak. Though it was already over with almost as soon as it started.

Thalion kept one arm around the other to keep him from falling over as he panted and said it wouldn't heal today but it should be better tomorrow. Though it didn't hurt when Mizuki poked the hand Thalion still flinched expecting it to, having gotten use to expecting a sharp needle of pain from his hand along his arm every time he barely moved it or hit it against something.

Though this was when Mizuki spoke again before he could find any words to say. There it was, Mizuki wanting a bath. He shook his head a little half still weary from moving the hand even after the spell. "By yourself? I don't think you could even walk there by yourself let alone not drown in the tub." Thalion could feel how little energy the other had and there was no way he was going to get a bath alone.

Mizuki started to say that he needed one but Thalion stopped him as he got the other to walk as he supported him. "I never said you were not getting one now did I?" Not that he recalled anyway. "You're getting your bath you want, just not without help.." He had no reason to help the other this much but he couldn't just leave him. They had waited seventeen years just to be together and even after what happened nights back he felt like he wanted to be there for the other.

Getting the other to the bathroom and getting things ready Thalion knew that Mizuki's face was probably in rough shape. He remembered very clearly both strikes he had done to the other. Both out of anger and frustration mixed with sadness. He almost didn't want to look at the face but at the same time any cuts needed to be cleaned.

Mizuki seemed to make a point to keep his face hidden from the other, even after he was in the bath and everything was set up. Hell even minor details were taken care of to the point that Mizuki couldn't complain about anything. Granted he blamed Belquiri for thinking of the little steps and process Mizuki always took to get a bath ready. Granted there were a few extra steps in this one to make it help cleanse and heal any wounds. And most thought he didn't pay attention to such things..

Though as Mizuki sat there determined to keep his face from Thalion the other sat at the edge of the tub before moving to get Mizuki to look at him as he moved the hair from his face. He really did a good job on those strikes didn't he. It looked worse then when Felix had punched him that one time. His ears dropped back a little before taking a damp rag to try and clean as much as was possible for now.

He felt like he had to say it, he couldn't just act like it didn't happen. "That night.. I'm sorry for what I did." He sighed a little looking down for a moment. "I knew better and I screamed at myself for it later, even after I left I wanted nothing more then to go back and say it never happened even though I knew it did." He meant the kiss with Needren, he didn't want to bring up old wounds but he had to get it off his chest. "it should have never have happened, there is no excuse for it and frankly I probably deserved worse then what happened later that night."

Though there was a up side to this as he laughed weakly after a little bit. "Though Neimi apparently got word of that from Luna.. she says that with that hold pierced in my year you should fix a chain to it and keep me on it." Granted the hole was near the tip of the ear and it was from the harsh bite Mizuki had done that night. The other probably never knew he had managed a small hole even with the taste of blood form the bite.
