They did have a set route they took. Far enough away from camp to be out and long enough that normally the children were tired by the time they got back. What made it worse was he didn't see anything moving past a noise every once in a while. Belquiri stayed close to Mizuki as she seemed to also be looking for where Nytria ran off to.
