Yeah, it was refreshing. Uh, cut off all electronic and internet usage. Period. Find a quiet place, I'd suggest either somewhere remote or in nature, to do nothing but reflect on life. It helps to bring a piece of paper and a pen along to write down important thoughts that pop up, so that you don't forget them later, and also so that they won't be a form of distraction.
Try those for starters. If you need more, I'm sure I can think up of some more.
