Eve scoffed, "Fine. You can join up." She gave a shrug, "But they won't be easy on you... and don't look at me like you have any chance of besting me." She pushed past Aiolia and continued down toward the training area. "We start in five minutes. Be early if you're serious."

Even if Aiolia did not plan on challenging Eve, she could still see the possibility in those eyes. The blond was determined and wanted to become better, which was reasonable, but still not enough to win at anything.

Relieved and even excited that he'd switched sides, she gripped onto his hand and eased herself against the few pillows propping her up.
