Well if he can't get the time off of work then what are you doing to do if you go down there during the Summer? Wait at his house for him to finish work? The Summer is the busiest part of the year for people who work in construction so... Now that I know that it doesn't make sense for you to go there during that time. xD

Just be patient and have him come over during the Winter. It makes more sense.
