More missing runes
 

I bought 2o runes a couple days ago and they were sitting in my account but for some reason, they've disappeared.
I'm almost positive I didn't spend them since I wasn't on much these past couple of days.

I have to say, that is definitely a first. I can see that you bought 20 runes from a user on October 10th in your trade history. That is your last trade, so you definitely didn't trade them. I can also see that you haven't spent any since September 30th.

Usually when something like this happens its because the trade messes up, and in cases like that you would of never of gotten the runes. I realize this is a few days old that this trade happened, so its probably pretty impossible to tell at this point whether that was what happened without some extensive research on my side. Which I will be doing (after informing the user you bought from that I will be looking at it to make sure the trade went through, when its small amounts of runes things like this can go completely unnoticed). But in the interest in saving time for you I will put 20 runes into your account. If the runes really did poof, I will have to have the coders find out why.

The only way this could have happened is if the trade had messed up, so the runes would have never been sitting in your account. Are you sure you just weren't paying attention after the trade and the runes never showed up in the first place?

I definitely did see that the runes were sent over because I tend to check it every time I buy runes

He bought runes from me..... I will check my trades but it went through as far as I can tell.

It went through and the runes have not been credited back to me. I haven't messed with my runes since the morning of the 11th.

Tiva, the trade says it went through, but that doesn't mean it did. The only way to check that is back end, which I haven't had a chance to do yet, which is why you haven't messaged you about checking yet. You could be completely right, but for the sake of finding out exactly what happened we will still have to check.

Uh. My runes kind of disappeared again for some reason.
I just bought more. Saw that the trade went through. My runes were updated.
But then when I moved to a different page, they disappeared again.
The amount of aurum I had decreased though. or I got it back?
I'm super confused right now

My suggestion is to stop messing with runes at all until they figure out whatever happened, you know?

I mean I think it was resolved the first time it happened but it just happened again.
And it's been almost a week since.

Apparently they haven't found out what caused it and fixed it yet, so see if instead of buying runes...see if they'll let you pay the same price for them buying what items you want?

Until they for sure fix it (or need you to see if they have)?

Yeah..I should have seen if everything was cleared up.

Runes are so hard to find these days though.

The good news is that Toho and I have a grand plan for improving the backends behind the shops, the inventory, the avatar editor, and the trade system, and this will improve both performance and reliability. The bad news is that it's going to take a while.

Hero, please consult with your trade partner to see if their aurum/runes updated correctly. If both of you got rolled back, just make another trade, otherwise PM me with the name and currency numbers and we'll have a staff member handle the cleanup.

He had traded with me. I had so many Rune Trades to do, I can only say I believe the trade went through on my end. My trade history says it went through but as Fenris said that could mean nothing.

I know the runes aren't there but I'm not even sure about the amount of aurum since it decreased, then increased and then decreased again?
I'm not positive about anything anymore

Maybe I should just not buy runes

I'd suggest on holding off on buying runes until Coda or someone else on the Coding team can figure out what is going on. :3 I'm sure they'll fix it soon.
