Favorite Manufacturer and Operating System
 

I was just curious as to what everyone's preferred computer (be it desktop or laptop) manufacturer as well as preferred operating system (i.e. Windows, OS X, Linux, etc.). If you want to specify a specific model of computer as well as OS, then feel free to.

Personally, I prefer Apple Macs and their OS X (at the moment, Mountain Lion).

Windows 7 though has kept me interested and Windows 8 promises to be just as interesting (if not making its interface more like OS X).

I have Windows 7, but I did everything I could to make it look as much like Windows XP as possible, including downloading a program that made my programs in the old-style menu bar so I can actually find them. I really resent the trend towards having graphics for everything instead of text. I find text much easier to navigate than pictures where I'm supposed to somehow magically figure out what they mean. It took me ages to figure out how to print in the newer Microsoft Office >.>

My current laptop is a Gateway, and it's fine, but i have no particular attachment to it... I just got it because it was a good deal at the time.

Looove my macbook, would never go back to windows, personally. I've heard a lot about the windows 8 and it seems kind of neat... but I'm just not interested >3<"

I do however want a new laptop. Mine still works fine, battery life is still pretty great and all, but I want the air since it'd be sooo much easier to carry around for school and such than my macbook pro. Cause I carry everything in my purse... so it gets terribly heavy and full.

well i have tried andriod, windows, and mac.

i have to say my favorite is windows.

I am a Mac person. Even though I use Windows, etc. I love my Macs, only reason why I don't have one is because they are so dang expensive. I have an iPad though that my sig other bought me. :)

I do like HP proudcts as well...

i like hp with the system of xp, though only older hp's but lenovo is good too
