Sooooo, I've been thinking really seriously about buying a graphics tablet. I've been wanting to get back to practicing art, and I've taken up trying to pixel, both of these would be easier with a tablet.

I don't want a fancy 'pro' tablet, I just need one that works, has a decent work area, and isn't too expensive (like under $100 if possible).

Any recommendations on brand, size, or where to get one?

Office depot (I work there) I know we have some that are 79+ >3< I don't remember the price, but the middle-grade one comes with photoshop elements, so I'd get that one (I think it was 99$). Elements alone is 120$ I think my boss said. Just a sec and I'll find you the links ^^'

Yup, here you go:

Edit: BTW, I actually don't know much about these drawing tablets, so I don't know how good this one in particular is. I just know we sell it, and it's not too expensive, and it comes with photoshop elements. >3<

Thanks bunches!!! I recently got a paycheck and a tablet is at the top of my list.

^^ You're welcome. I don't know much about the things, so I don't know if it's actually a good one, but I'd assume so simply cause most of our stuff is pretty good (I always thought) sooo yeah ._.'

But it does seem like an awesome deal with the program it comes with ^^

I know Wacom is a recommended brand, and that is a KILLER price, but I'll wait for a few more responses to see what others say...

But seriously THANKS!!!

Azrael 07-14-2012 10:10 PM

^^ I would like to know a bit more as well, personally. Considering we sell them at my store. although I may not be there much longer, I always like to learn about our products. (I'm really lame. I hate my job half the time, but I love it at the same time and I have great pride in Office Depot... -_-)

I know I've got a friend who has a similar one to the one you linked to Azzy, only hers was the REALLY expensive Bamboo Tablet...

How do you like yours Pinkie?

Azrael 07-14-2012 10:14 PM

Yeah there's one up past the 99$ one I showed you (which is the middle-ground one) and it was the 200$ one.

I like it...its interesting to try and use though lol

Wacom is the ONLY brand of tablet I trust. It's the only one I've ever used and I've never had problems (that is until my brother stepped on the pad and snapped it in half ; 3;). I am looking to get the Wacom Bamboo, myself, but any other kind works well also. I used to have an older version that I got for under 100 and it was lovely. I recomend it. :)

Although, no matter what brand you use, it will be awkward to learn to use. xP

Okays...I think I'll inform my mother of my intentions and see what I can do...
