Good tablet computers for under $200?

I'm really really wanting a tablet, but I don't have 600 bucks to spend on an iPad (even though I REALLY REALLY want one!), so 200 is my limit.
I looked into the Kindle Fire, but there isn't much space, and there are no options to plug in memory cards or anything, and I've been hearing mixed reviews.
I also heard great things about the Nexus 7, but it's JUST under 200 dollars, and there is the option to expand the memory, for an extra 50 bucks. No sale.

I really want a tablet that has a high resolution and the option to add more memory (like for a micro SD card or something). A bigger screen is preferred but I'm okay with 7 inch screens as well.

Please help! I've looked online but I keep finding older reviews and I want to include new products as well.

EDIT: I've been digging more, and found the Archos - 70b Tablet that looks really nice and I've heard great reviews! Anybody heard of this brand? ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Archos+-...5#BVRRWidgetID )

good luck on the hunt twiggy.
tablets are nice but the right one at a low price is difficult to find.
also most new tablets are running honeycomb 3.0 or higher which is pretty good

Thank you! And, see, I wanted the Archos cause it has the Honeycomb but I just read some reviews, and they weren't good, so now I don't know what to think. :/

It also depends on what you want it for.

I would say that the Nexus 7 is your best best in regards to a cheap high performance tablet. (it's also the first android 4.1 tablet i believe) It all depends on what you plan to do with it to be honest. Gaming and demanding apps = Nexus 7 for sure. if it's only basic web browsing and apps there are probably higher capacity, but less powerful ones out there.
