That's not to bad, last night I was on for a few hours and ended up making over 4k au ( I think that's the currency can't be sure though.)

Trust me, it's not the 7.5k that's hard to find; it's a seller. TBH, Runes now go for 250 each, so it'd be closer to...12500 Aurum. A lot when you think about it now, but it's not too much in the long run, especially with the amount you seem to be posting.

...Now that I think about it, there've actually been some Rune sellers recently.

So the site is having troubles with donations? I might donate a bit in the futures more like in the summer when I have more hours.
