A question about questions ^^;;;;

If you had a question for the community, not related to Trisphee feedback, where would it go? In the Lifestyles forums? Or in the Central Square?

Question for the community? Like, a discussion thread among the lines "what is your biggest fear?" thread? I think Central Square then. o:

mmm What if the question was more less trivial than that?

Like a question on the best way to make money or asking for help?
or a question on stereotyping?

still central square?

Sadrain 08-11-2010 03:48 PM

Hmm, questions about earning money would go here, I think, since it's overall game-side connected and stereotype question would go to central square (but I am not entirely sure, if I have to pick between Life Issues and Central Square)... Though, if you asked it the "What do you do to earn Aurum?", I think it would go to Central Square still.

Not site money. Like rl money XDDD Because technically being broke is a life issue...and stereotyping is part of life issues as well. :/

What -does- go in that forum anyways? @.@

... Actually, I am starting to wonder that now, too. XD ...

If central Square was Community Discussion, then "do you drive" and "i passed ged" would go to life issues/real life discussion, but they are still there, so I have no idea.

I guess it depends on the weight of the question. if it's a question like, "hey, I'm just curious how many of you drive. discuss." then it could be in central square. but if it's a question like, "hey guys, I need help making money. advice please?" then it's a bit more suited towards life issues.

of course, if we blur the lines like that then we have lots of problems in the future with so many threads and deciding what's important enough to go where. =/ but for now, I think it's a good guideline because we're all mature enough to figure it out on our own.

The other thing to think about is that central square undoubtedly gets the most traffic right now, so I guess more people will probably answer the question if it's posted there. not that I'm condoning stretching forum rules to post a thread that may or may not belong there, but... >.>

XD Lol. I suppose Lucid's right.

Undoubtedly in central square the lines of what belongs there will be stretched, It always happens because of what it is. But when we get to open a guideline to follow is any pointless discussions that are really just out of curiosity (IE I was wondering how many of you drive) might belong in central square, it is not a life issue your just asking about a user. While questions specific to arising issues in life such as asking for making money should be in life issues. As I said though the line will always be blurred in central square because of what it is. It is safe to say if you can not decide that it belongs in another forum, then more than likely its safer to put it in the central square.

Thank you Fenris! I think I'd start by putting it in the central square. It seems pretty shallow enough for there.

and thanks to Lucid and Rainy for your help too >w<

Lol, I wasn't very helpful, but you're welcome. x3
