Seabreeze
Is it just me, or do the last three poses of Seabreeze Caress look a bit...faded...when equipped on an avi? (As compared to the preview)
I don't suppose you have a Mac, Espy?
Nuh-uh. I don't like Macs. (But how's that relevant? o.O)
Because certain information in PNG files is handled differently by Macs than by Windows PCs, which could manifest as appearing as different brightnesses or being slightly faded. Your web browser on Windows completely ignores it.
I suppose it's possible that the avatar editor's backend actually DOES pay attention to it when saving the final version of the images, so what you see in the editor and what you see after you save will be different. It's not terribly difficult to fix but it'll take a long time on the server and I don't want to start the process when there are so many users logged in. |
so you'll fix it at about 4am?(it's before 2pm here now)
Alright, thanks for the info :) Really doesn't matter much; I'm just OCD about stuff.
choco, no, probably not tonight, it'll have to be some time when I'm still awake. I'll find a good time to run through everything.
Oh, I've noticed that it's only the teal and dark blue three-triangle/jewel waistband-ish male pose that has that problem. The female poses are fine.
Espy, I've got the process running right now, can you check this for me tomorrow?
Not until at least 3 pm PST. But sure.
That's fine, it's going to be a couple hours before this finishes most likely.
Okies, cool. Will try to remember to post here tomorrow.
Reporting back! Nup, the poses are still off-color.
Hmm, if that's the case it was probably saved wrong. We'll have to get an artist to fix it. (Don't we have an official Item Bugs thread?)
(Whoops. Forgot about that. Should I post there?)
Is the Seabreeze problem fixed cause I'm trying to find the error in Seabreeze
