What are your favorite avatars, color combos, item layerings of your own, what have you seen other people use and possibly also in my closet which you can find here?

red and black is the only way to go

Also, I would say that black is deffinitely in my path, but not only one another certain color... xD That differs for people. P=

I actually sorta wanted to make this thread only about my won closet, but I thought I would make it too coincieted sounding, lol.

But if those questions were asked to me... I like cooler colors, usually. And I like "elegant", complimenting color combinations. I like black, so, it's usually one of colors in avvies I enjoy, either mine or other people's.
I love layering things, making them look like one item that hasn't been made out of lots of little bits. I looveee when I see clever layering, that makes something altogether new.
I have seen lot of avvies that have inspired me, or that I have simply enjoyed. Some of them have gone against my usual princips/opinions of pretty avvies.

I love avatars with a solid main color but accented with another color. Two or three colors at most.

I also like avatars that seem to tell a story.

Yes, those are always good. C: Not just randomly layered to go super-crazy, lol. xD

I usually stick to black/color or white/color, but that's because I'm lazy. I love Lucid, Nightmare, and Batty's fashions, though. I always marvel at their work.

I like to use color combinations that people wouldn't normally think of, but I also like to use black/color/color and/or white/color/color. I probably end up using a lot of silvers, too.

I -always- love Lucid's bajillion avis.

I make the ones I like my self, and that's just it.

Mine ends up being a one tone color color combo or two depending on the theme. the hair and eye colors are contrasting to the outfit. and it seems that there's always a combo of a DI, Event items, MI, and commons together. But I usually wear the female boxers with the tall boots.

I've seen a lot of really nice looking avatars here but none of it would be possible if the items themselves didn't look wonderful.

Mine's almost always red and black...and silver...and recently some more white. I've done a couple purple and black avi's...I don't use many other schemes. Monotone is nice but a bit hard...

I wish I had the inspiration/patience to do triple color schemes >.>
