Is there anyone on the site that plays Harvest Moon?

Although I try to keep it creepy, the utter adorableness is my secret addiction. I got Harvest Moon 64 when I was a wee Behemothling and I've been playing ever since. I remember Karen was my first wife, but I think I also married Popuri and Ann on different files.

My current game is Animal Parade and it is so adorable that it hurts my very soul. I'm marrying Julius on my girl file, but I have no idea who to marry on my boy file. Any ideas? The list of eligible girls for the game is here. I just know that I don't want to marry the Goddess or Luna, because the first is too hard and the other looks eight. Seriously. How young can you get married in the Harvest Moonverse?!

Heh. My sister is a harvest moon geek, and usually married Karen though did mary all of the others at one point or another. I think she likes Potpurri now.

I played Animal Crossing: City Folk with another sister for some time. Also a silly addictive game though without the farming. You can plant trees and such around though, if you like. Not sure why but menial little farming games are attention grabbing in the charming, kiddy sort of way.

I used to play Animal Crossing every day, though it was the DS version. It's a cute game but the real time part gets to you after awhile, especially when you put it down and suddenly your entire town is one big weed.

That does get annoying. Haven't played the regular animal crossing but I play enough other real time games to be a little irritated with the fact that I'm a night owl and daytime objectives tended to ellude me.

I personally haven't played it but my brother absolutely loves it. I've had to fight him a number of times in order to get the gamecube back XD

I loved playing Harvest Moon, all the way back from the first one on the SNES... but my favorite incarnation was the PS1 version. Until my memory card ate my file T.T
Anyways Behemoth the one I'd go for is the witch.. but only because I like witches. My second choice probably would have been Luna :P

I was enlightened on the cuteness of Harvest Moon: Rune Factory 3 Apparently it's really hard to get because so few of the games were made. (My sister got her copy online, shipped from the UK). Apparently you are half-sheep, of sorts, you live in a tree, and there's this absolutely delightful artist that runs around saying "Rainbow!" every time she passes you on the street. I just really like the were-sheep idea. I love playing animals. :)

I love Harvest Moon. The first one that I played was on the Gamecube. Now I have the cute version for DS and the PSP one that I don't remember the name of.

I LOVE HARVEST MOON. I'm playing Animal Parade and Sunshine Islands atm. I always have a habit of chasing after the most difficult guy to get. Usually the distant, oh-so-misunderstood one that secretly loves animals.

I also love Animal Crossing, too, but the real time thing DEFINITELY gets to you. Especially when I get super busy and then when I return, everyone hates me, I missed holidays/events, my hybrid flowers are dead, and it looks like I live in a jungle of weeds. -flail-

Has anyone played a game called Shepherd's Crossing? I own it but haven't gotten around to it.. I wondered if it was at all close to Harvest Moon or another game entirely xD Maybe I should put it in and play it tonight...

Only farming games I have played on a console are Shepards Crossing and Rune Factory Frontier. My fiance told me I should try out the Harvest Moon games so I may look into getting those on one of my hand helds next time I buy a game.

OMG HARVEST MOON FAN !!!! - Tackles - I been playing harvest moon since I was like 6 .... >.>... I wasn't very good... But I know in AP, I personally would marry Vivi ( Who I am marrying) ( AKA : The Witch)... or Kathy.

I've played Harvest Moon 64, Friends Of Mineral Town, More Friends Of Mineral Town, A Wonderful Life (Also the Special Edition), and Magical Melody. They become SO ADDICTING and I just can't stop playing once I start! Now I feel like playing them again, I haven't played in almost a whole year...
Now I know what i'll play once I finish summer school. I'll need as much free time as I can, these games do require quite some time to be put into them!
