Gonna start dieting....
Cuz I weigh 300 pounds and am having trouble finding pants that fit in my usual stores.
This will be my first time dieting ever. I'm using a site [site removed] to track my food consumption this week to try and evaluate what I need to change as far as a new eating routine is concerned. I'm also gonna use the site throughout my dieting... I'm also gonna be following their fitness plan top the best of my ability since I need to do some working out since my muscles are pathetic compared to when I was in 6-7th grade. Also my legs can't handle as long of walks as I used to take just last year, which may be the fault of my shoes more than anything.... I got new shoes and now my feet and legs hurt like hell when I try to walk in them for longer than an hour. I fully intend to get better walking shoes. And I need to buy a water bottle! All the ones we already have are old and make the water taste bad. |
I wish you luck, bud. BTW you probably need to give the shoes time to break in. What's you're workout plan?
|
I'll be rooting for you! Just start slow and make sure you see a doctor too, exercise and changing eating habits can work wonders for people ^^

I plan to do mild (for now) strength exercise Monday, Wednesday, Friday and some sort of mild (for now) cardio Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday with Sunday as a rest day. |
Good luck to you, dieting is no easy task to undertake. Just remember to be patient and diligent - you can't expect to fit into size 0 jeans in one month.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...y_macurris.gif I know how you feel and wish you the best of luck! A few years ago when I was still living with my parents, I got to my ultimate low and became very depressed with how I looked because I weighed 240 lbs. I used SparkPeople to track my calories and excercise for about a year... I got down to about 160lbs and went from a size 23 to a size 10. It really works, and makes you aware of portion sizes and what you're eating that's racking up your calorie intake... Unfortunately since moving in with Cale, I've gained most of the weight back. I've started to work out again, though I haven't been counting my calories, in hopes of losing the weight again. A big tip is everything in moderation and appreciate even the little goals! Good luck! |
BE. CAREFUL.
Thats all I ask of yew, Moonie. Trust me on this, as long as you do it the right way, you won't have any issues. According to my family, I dieted/lost weight the WRONG way. I think I know which site you're talking about, by the way, and I use it too. <3 Its super helpful, and will DEFINITELY keep you on track. I wish you luck! |
good luck! if you need any help feel free to hit me up. i have tons of military work out routines I could share with you...<3

I wish you well.
Have you decided on what your action plan is when it comes to diet as well?. Because I have that weight loss depends on mostly diet and the second factor would excercise to burn off calories. Also, have you thought about bad habits when it comes to various dieting or something? For example snacking at night or, something along those lines because elimating those can be a big help too. But, it ain't easy I can tell you that much. I'm about 223 pounds or so, so I know where you are coming from. I wish you luck :) |
Start out just cutting 500 calories a day. You'll start losing weight at a healthy rate then. If you have trouble walking, try swimming?
|
Swimming is GREAT! Its what I implement in my workout routine every day, for the most part. It works and tones the entire body. <3

Why'd you remove the site name? Was it sparkpeople? I used to use there and it rocked for tracking food.. o3o
|
I don't think he did, I think it was edited out, because its considered advertising.
|
Aaah, huh I didn't think mentioning another site's name could be (unless he like posted a whole link) because I'm pretty sure people here talk about other sites often.. o3o

I sometimes think I should try to keep better track of what I eat and how I exercise. I've let my high metabolism keep me going but I'm seriously out of shape and really should exercise more... >>
