Price my art, please?

Hurr. I'm still like... totally new to Trisphee here. D; And I don't know how the pricing goes on here, so~

Price my art, please? ; u;

I have two different styles: this and this one. More examples of my art at chantage.deviantart.com. o uo;

Thaank you~ <3 c:

WHOA. Uhm...Ok, I'm horrible at pricing, so I can't give much there. I'll go surf around and give you a price. But you definitely have to open a shop :D If you do, I'll buy stuff (if I've money.)

Ice 12-08-2010 12:41 AM

Ahh, thank you! ;; I'm thinking about opening a shop, if enough interest in generated. ; u ;b

Espy 12-08-2010 12:43 AM

I'm not terribly fond of the first style, so I may be pricing lower than what others will price it at: 3k.

The second style, I love lots. I'd go with 4-5k for a waist-up and maybe 6k for a fullbody.

Duchess 12-08-2010 12:44 AM

Sooo really nice... I would start selling for relatively low like between 1k-2k

If too many people are interested you can up the price, if too little, lower it.

Espy 12-08-2010 12:45 AM

XD Take both our prices and average them? Like I said, Duchess probably has the better tactic.

Duchess 12-08-2010 12:56 AM

I always fiddle with my prices xP Greatly dependant on my moood at the time @.@

And I encourage others to do the same. I always start low when new because I'm excited and eager to get a chance to draw something new so i WANT offers. But then I get sick of it and become expensive and have limited slots.

It really depends on what you want from the shop. Whether you want a lot of offers or a little. Because I've realised, that no matter how high you price, if the art is really good and there's a demand, people will still pay.

On Gaia I upped my art price to 1 miL and people STILL offered. smh

Ice 12-08-2010 01:07 AM

Thanks. c': The first style was kind of experimental anyways; I wasn't sure if people would like it or not. ;; The second one's really what I usually draw. 9 n9

I always feel bad for raising the prices too high, though. |DD On Gaia I had my stuff at 30k for ages before my friends forced me to go bribe-only. ;c And then I started getting offers of like. 600k. @ A @ Crazy.

Espy 12-08-2010 01:12 AM

I kind of stopped using Gaia...I only ever played the market on there.

Duchess 12-08-2010 01:14 AM

loool

I only realized i could offer that high when i had a bribe only slot open for when regular slots were closed. Got some insane offers like, wtf? xDDDD

I never touch the marketplace .w. Anywhere... Its just not my tea. I draw for my pixelled supper. xDDDD

Rem 12-08-2010 01:19 AM

Hmmm I would say start at .. 3.5k for the first style and .. maybe 4-5k for the second (in a waist up?) It's hard for me to tell since the site is so new, but you use good details and good coloring so ~
but Rainy's right, it's best to start lowist

Ice 12-08-2010 01:19 AM

I've kind of stopped using Gaia, too. = u =; I just lurk on here and on Crysandrea, now. c; Mostly, that is.~ I still have friends on Gaia that I visit occasionally.

Duchess 12-08-2010 01:33 AM

I post on Gaia.... once or twice a month @.@ I should really be more active there. I'm abandoning some of my internet friends.

Me and Muff muff was trying to get them to migrate over here.... but they don't like the idea of being poor. XDDDDDD

Espy 12-08-2010 01:36 AM

It's no fun being too rich. Poverty on forums gives you something (too much...) to do.

Duchess 12-08-2010 01:39 AM

They are art whores. That's how i make my friends XDDDD.

The more moneyz you have, the more art and GOOD art you can get. They can't stand not being able to whore out all the artists due to lack of funds. XDDD

Ice 12-08-2010 01:57 AM

xD; I see, I see. Yeah, on TinierMe I totally whore out all the artists. D| It's where I buy most of my art from. BU /loves collecting art

We don't have a "dream avatar creator"-type thing on here, do we? o ~ o
