This made me chuckle xD

rip in peas aim

i knew thee well

forever missed

Mekatra 11-28-2017 10:23 PM

You know what I miss? The AIM away messages. Those were so handy. I'm sure there is some kind of app or something you can download to make things do it now, but that was a fantastic feature.

Did anyone else have Trillian so they could be on several accounts of things at once?

Tohopekaliga 11-28-2017 10:30 PM

lol. Yeahh, definitely forgot about htat page. Needs some love.

Espy 11-28-2017 10:42 PM

Did people even use ICQ?

pompon-chan 11-28-2017 10:47 PM

I actually did use ICQ xD
In high school! All the kids would use it to chat on the computers since you didn't have the actual programs on the school comps > V <'

Tohopekaliga 11-28-2017 10:48 PM

That stuff really shows you how old the version of vBulletin we use really is... The version we use is discontinued, but it's been modified by us over the years. Lots of things are still what vBulletin provided, though.

pompon-chan 11-28-2017 10:58 PM

That makes sense!
Are you guys ever going to upgrade?

Tohopekaliga 11-28-2017 11:00 PM

vBulletin? No. We're just going to slowly replace it with custom built solutions.

mdom 11-28-2017 11:00 PM

here ICQ was waaaay more popular than AIM xD
then we moved to msn and then uhn I guess orkut, then facebook, then whatsapp.
International friends are all over discord, but my national friends are still on whatsapp. technology grows so fast, like other people's kids

pompon-chan 11-28-2017 11:03 PM

Oh I see, I don't know much about coding, so hopefully you guys can compete with the newer sites! O v O

Tohopekaliga 11-28-2017 11:05 PM

Yup. :) I think we can.

Espy 11-28-2017 11:21 PM

IMO newer sites sometimes look too fancy >.> But maybe that's just me. I've been used to Tris's flat colors for the past, uh....while.

pompon-chan 11-28-2017 11:34 PM

I don't doubt there are users that really like this look. It's all about the target audience. In the end if you have enough users to keep you afloat your good in general o u o

Tohopekaliga 11-28-2017 11:46 PM

Well, we are actually working on some appearance upgrades, but it'll be a gradual thing.

pompon-chan 11-28-2017 11:49 PM

I'm sure it's not an easy thing, so that's understandable!
