Looking for a Name
Okay, so I have recently recalled an old (late 1990's to early 2000's) arcade game.
It was an isometric top-down RPG, where you could pick 4 (maybe 5) characters/classes. Graphics and gameplay were similar to Diablo. I remember it being in food/quarter arcade game places (Think Putt-putt arcade and Mr. Gattis). I also remember a "desert/Egyptian ruins" area that you had to battle your way through (fighting Lizard/Snake-like creatures) with a few trap areas (triggering things like fire) and barrels and chests you hit to either release enemies, get power-ups, or health. (No inventory, however) It had enemy spawning places that you had to destroy (hit the entryway enough for it to collapse) and a real deep voice announcing everything. I wish I knew the name, as I never went far in the game (Due to not being willing/able to pay more than perhaps $1 at a visit) and it was one of my first games I ever played (Others being Treasure Mountain!, Area 51, and Nightmare Ned). If anyone remembers the name of the game, It would make my day. |
Sounds like one of the Gauntlet series. ("Blue wizard needs food badly!")
