The Sims 4: Final Installment(?)

Anyone who's ever played the Sims probably knows what I'm talking about. Either in Fall or Winter of this year, Maxis and EA will be releasing the last installment of the Sims. Since it's release in 2000, Sims has attracted fans from all over the world. Sims 1 and 2 left a huge imprint on the lives of Simmers, but Sims 3 doesn't feel all that memorable. Sure the graphics were amazing and the interactions were different, but the expansions added so many problems and bugs.

So far, from what I've read and seen in review videos, Sims 4 seems to be really impressive. Whole new engines have been made, changing the experience of veteran and new Simmers alike. A new Create-a-Sim makes it much easier and quicker to make your families, building houses have never been more of a breeze and the whole new emotional states of your Sims just brings more life to the game itself. I honestly cannot wait for this to come out. I'm selling my Sims 3 games to boot so I can afford the new Sims 4. :f-squee:

What do you guys think?

I hope we have more space to build houses on. I always loved building large houses and i never have enough room for my gardens.

I kinda want the new sims. =) i'll start saving up now x3

There should be different sized-lots like in the older games. I always put a big lot down and still had a lot of room left over. I wasn't good at designing houses. Not for a lack of creativity, but the limit the game had and there were things that I couldn't figure out or it was too complex. With different tools and settings, I might be able to make some awesome looking houses this time around.

Well I think it is. I heard it was... Not sure but they keep milking this cow and I keep buying into it ._.

Unless it comes out for PS3....no chance of me getting it.

And I probably wouldn't get it for awhile...because of 3. I liked the ps2 versions of the games....didn't like Sims 2 for the PC...so who knows.

Ooh Sims 4, when is it out? I loved 1 and 2, but was so disappointed with 3, it was so focused on the characters and their lives and not so much on the building side of things which I feel is what most people loved the most. I spent way more time building things then I did playing out the characters lives (which I found boring in any case).

For anyone still thinking about playing Sims 4, being a fan of it throughout all the years, this one really steps it up. It feels so much smoother and with their new expansions it is really fun. Of course, the custom content is also incredible as always and adds another demension to it just like in the previous installments.

I don't like the simple trait system and the cartoony graphics. And the preset styles of CAS feel like a step backwards towards The Sims 2. And the hairs are like The Sims Medieval which I like but the hair looks like plastic.
