May or may not have an interested person with a question.

I messaged Trisphee to a few friends to see if they would be interested.
I got one response asking if the person could post walkthroughs for the Technology 101 thread. Can someone inform me if this is allowed or not so I can inform him?

Uh... walkthroughs for what?

I'm not seeing anything that's obviously against the rules about it. It just seems a little bit strange.

From what I understand, like "How to use Arduino"

littl3chocobo 11-05-2013 03:31 PM

what is that? it sounds really strange to ask

Google is a friend.

I know what an Arduino is, and as I said, there's nothing against the rules about it, but it DOES seem a little bit... strange. It doesn't seem like the kind of forum where you'd want to post something like that. If he wants to try it and see what kind of response he gets, that's fine, but I don't want to disappoint your friend if it doesn't get much attention.

It feels like a community where you'd get better results out of a "show off your Arduino builds and talk about what you want to do with it" thread than just an infodump.
