Zombies, Zombies, Zombies!

Fast Zombies, Slow Zombies, Romero Zombies, and Rob Zombies Cinema is filled with Zombies! From King of the Zombi, to Survival of the Dead, Zombies have lived, and un-lived, in our hearts for over 6 decades. Whats your favorite Zombie? Do you have one? How would you fight one? Or would you be one?!
Lets talk about it :).:D

hmm I don't know about a favorite zombie
they all can be pretty frightening sometimes...
hmm if I had to fight one... has a rod, and long sticks... if I could get to a friends house first they could obliterate them...
with gun powder and guns and knives but that would be such a long walk/run I don't think I could make it...

Always best to use an axe. Doesnt need to be reloaded and you cant go wrong with an axe. But one of the best Zombie movies, in my oppinion, is land of the dead by George A. Romero.

I'm not very up to date on zombie movies, I need to see more. But I loveeeeee 28 Days Later, those are my kind of zombies, crazy, super fast running, "IMA EATCHU!", kind of zombies.
If there was a zombie apocalypse (which everyone is secretly praying for anyways :P) I would want to go up against those kind of zombies. xD

Cronislee 09-27-2010 10:26 PM

Lol personally I prefer the Ramero, slow, Zombies. They are more fun, but the occsional fast zombie would make thinks interesting. God I couldnt stand 28 weeks later tho. Damn Hollywood!
Honestly, Who does'nt want a zombie apocalypse? Remember tho- always have a fire grade- fiber glass handled axe. They can survive the endless Zombie hordes without breaking or splintering.

Obviously I'd prefer to deal with the slow and stupid.
But the fast and not so stupid are sometimes a thrill to watch.
I've got to say, Zombieland has fast become one of my favorites.
Not only was it a cinematic masterpiece, but it was hilarious.

my favorite zombie movie is zombieland
a zombie would probably kill me cuz i have no cardio
i got a book called The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks :)

Tarrek 03-17-2011 01:12 AM

I prefer slow zombies. Oh, and The Zombie Survival Guide is EPIC! If you like zombies at all you need to go out and buy this book NOW!
Well, what are you doing still reading? Go buy it. Buy it NOW! The apocalypse is coming! HURRY!
*not really*

Just thought I'd throw this in here, but there is a newish form of malaria that kills people and restarts the heart hours later and gives them brain damage due to the lack of air. They only last about 2 hours after they come back, but because of the damage they show rage and such. I don't know where it was, and it is prolly taken care of by now.
Is this the 1st sign...?
BUM BUM BUUUUUUUUMMM!

It's too hard to have a favorite zombie, but I watched Fido recently and that one is great. Possibly my favorite bite from the movie:

"Is that blood on your zombie?"
"...Yes."
"How did it get there?"
"It was a nose bleed."
"That's not a fresh zombie, son. Only fresh zombies bleed."
"I meant my nose."
"How did blood from your nose get on that zombie?"
"I wiped it there."
"..."

This is exactly how I feel.

Oh man, if the zombie apocalypse ever comes, I am so dead. I'm gonna become a zombie and spend the rest of my days muching on man-flesh.

That being said, my favorite zombies are the ones in Shaun of the Dead.

I am also of the firm agreement in becoming a zombie right away. I don't want to live in fear.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-07-2011 05:41 AM

I forgot about Fido. The little twisted attempt of a grin on his face at the end of the film is great. Kinda feel a little bad for the dad though.

My cardio sucks, but I know how to opperate various styles of shotguns so I should be able to defend myself for long enough to shoot myself so I don't get zombied.

Zombies aren't my favourite creatures at all, but they do make some interesting enterainment. I'm a fan of the slow zombie. That's what makes zombies, zombies. Vampires are fast, zombies are slow, though Zombieland did pull off the fast zombie rather well.

My favourite part of Shaun of the Dead was how long it took Shaun to figure out what happened. That, and the records. Hee hee.

I was never familiar with Rob Zombie (besides the name) prior to House of 1000 Corpses which, while not my preferred viewing at all, prooved to be an interesting movie, and I do like his remake of Halloween, a particular scene or two aside.

If I had to pick a favourite zombie it would be... Reverend Zombie! From Hatchet. Ha! Played by Tony Todd. :D.

Zombies creeeepy! I love zombie movies though. but yeah... lol i wouldn't watch them alone, i'd be afraid one would bust through my window randomly and eat my flesh..
