Unable to post in the Cat Paws Charity
Hello, I'm Keisume and as the title states I can't post in the Cat Paws Charity thread. I tried reloading the page and I was asked if clicked the link in the activation email which I did. Whenever I click "Go Advanced" I get this message saying
"vBulletin Message Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error." I haven't tried doing a quick post yet. But if anyone has any advice to fix my problem please post and give your input. :3 |
Have you tried logging out and back in? It seems like the server has decided that you didn't activate your account (which you did as you have been posting) One of the admins will be on soonish hopefully.
Is it not letting you post in any form other than error report now? |

Actually that error message is because you had reloaded the page. As part of the system security measures, each page is given a "token" that your browser sends along with your post, and then the server makes sure that that token matches the one it gave you earlier. If they don't match, or if the token is too old, or if the token has been used before, then it blocks the post as a hack attempt.
When you reloaded the page, that made your browser send the same token again. |
I get the 'too old' thing so i refresh it then it works for me oxo,

Yeah, if you go back from the error page and reload again, THEN clicking the button will work.
