Everyone knows about the Fairy Tales of Grimm! [if you don't FOR SHAME!] For this one, ANY story from the books of Grimm can be done. There are two volumes of stories, check out the full list here.
Gothic Industrial/Angelic Industrial
Out of all the themes chosen, this one is the most confusing, but one I'm looking forward to seeing! So industrial fashion. What is it EXACTLY? Well, Industrial Fashion can be a lot of things. Post Apocalyptic, Technological/Electromechanical [circuit boards, etc], Bio-hazardous.. in short? Futuristic. As for the angelic side of it? Just have it be more innocent! Example One || Example Two || Example Three || Example Four || Example Five
Side Note* Completely different from the Rainbow Rave, AKA, Cyber Punk.
Sugar Lolita
As for Sugar Lolita, think sweet lolita, but using more of a girlie undertone. Pastels, Candy Floss, Cavity inducing sweetness!
As always, every entry that wins will be made in to items to be released, runner ups included. You'll also receive the following:

1. Leather corset. Kind of a halter design with belts holding it up. Bows on the bottom of the corset. 2. Leather armbands. The guy's is the same as the girl's. 3. Lace undershirt (girl's design). Turtleneck semi-transparent lace that extends to the fingers. 4. Leather mini skirt. Attached belt, wih zipper to the side. 5. Leather gloves (girl's design). Fashion gloves that cover little more than the fingers. 6. Lace leggings. Semi-transparent leggings that end around the knee. 7. Leather boots (girl's design). Thigh-high stiletto boots with details down the entire boots and bows just above the heels. 8. Leather vest. Open vest with leather attachments. 9. Lace undershirt (guy's design). Assymmetrical, only covers one arm, sleeve ends in a leather band. 10. Leather gloves (guy's design). Fingerless gloves. 11. Pants with belts. Pants (or capris?) with belts coming down from one side belt loop, and lace from the other. 12. Leather boots (guy's design). Platform wedge boots with belt details.
I just couldn't pixel the outfit for the life for me. But this is an entree for Leather and Lace. (Do mind the slackerness of the art...)
Completed with Hat, Hair, Vest (With little belt/buckle thingy's that are wrapped around the shoulder must I note.), neck tie, Belt (simple belt >3) pants (bottom buckles included) Cuffs, and Shoes (I forgot the Black laces, if this gets made.. Remember. The. laces. xD) Believe me when I say it all looks better on paper (but it's not as colorful </3)

Entry One
Okay, here's my leather and lace thing. It's pieced together so that I could remove some of my sketches that were around it.
Items:
1 Leather tunic/vest with heavy lace lapels (think heavy table cloth stuff) and three studs on left side.
2. Leather pants with studs running down left leg. (Undecided on how many)
3. Fishnet gloves with ties at the wrist (I love these! Saw a pair at the halloween store in the steampunk section. ;))
4. Circular tinted glasses.
5. Victorian style leather shoe with brass heel.
6. Gary Oldman hair courtesy of Bram Stoker's Dracula ;)(not brain head, the younger version. Looks similar to Sampson hair but no bangs and smoother).
7. Forgot. There's a white collar with short cravat that you can see with the vest.
This is for the Leather & Lace, but it's decidedly leather.
Head - cute leather cap
Top - A leather corset top that it connected to small shoulder straps by grommets and basically open criss-cross corset strings across the bust.
Arms - a leather trench coat with a tall collar and side fastenings.
Bottoms - leather pants with armor pads
Feet - Big leather boots with a single buckle belt across the ankle.
Yes again - sorrry for my awesomely awful pixel skills.

(This would rest on the forhead comming down the nose between the eyes)

I confess! I did this solely so that I could have the swans. ;).
Look is based on Grimms' fairy tale "The Seven Swans" (or six, depending on who you ask), along with the star/night/sun dress theme that shows up in a couple fairy tales. Same with the red shoes. I like bright colours with a fairy tale, hence the blue/yellow/red thing.
List as follows:
1. Swans in front of the avatar by the feet (guy on the right looks a little funny because I was playing with wing poses).
2. Swan flock behind the avatar.
3. Swan wing in place of right arm (should be left)
4. Star top (basic wide neck shirt with black halter. Hanging stars from collar).
5. Belt with hanging stars, removable.
6. Navy blue dress (starry night thing) with hanging stars, drawn empire waist or with removable belt. Either way. Fabric coming through slit is sun/daytime themed and primary yellow.
7. Tiara with cliche swan necks making heart (I know! Don't bug me :p)
8. Bright, primary red sparkley Dorothy shoes!
9. Layered mantle of many different kinds of fur with sun clasp.
Edit: forgot. The halter strap around the neck is black to match the black detail at the base of a swan's beak, and I put little ties on the dress shoulders for fun.

Grimm theme: Snow White (Not to be confused with Snow White and Rose Red; they are 2 different stories entirely)

Top: Bodice (or, as called in the tale, "stay-laces")
Top #2: Matching 3/4 sleeve length top
Bottom: Matching skirt
Feet: Red hot iron shoes. (From the story: "Not knowing that this new queen was indeed her stepdaughter, she arrives at the wedding, and her heart fills with the deepest of dread when she realizes the truth. As punishment for her wicked ways, a pair of heated iron shoes are brought forth with tongs and placed before the Queen. She is then forced to step into the iron shoes and dance until she drops dead." Unfortunately I've never pixeled shoes of this style before, so I didn't know how to go about doing it. ^^; )
Hands #1: Magic Mirror
Hands #2: Poisoned Apple (not shown on avatar. forgot to put it in her hand. D:)
Face: Red Lips (Lips red as blood).

Head : We have a curly green hat
Eyes : Long curly eyebrows
Nose : A crooked long nose
Face : A long curl beard
Top : I can't draw, but it was suppose to be a pair of suspenders. It would go under the jacket.
Arms : The jacket with gold threads running through it.
Bottoms : Brown highwater shortpants? I don't know what they are called with gold threads going though the waistband and shinbands

Um... okay so I kinda went a little overboard on this one.

I chose the Grimm theme. Rapunzel this time.
I wasn't originally gonna pixel EVERYTHING, (almost everything), but I just loved the idea so much~
ANYWAY.
Long hair: Obvious. But I chose to have the hair up in the back from this quote= "Rapunzel had magnificent long hair, fine as spun gold, and when she heard the voice of the enchantress (or Gothel in some versions), she unfastened her braided tresses.."
Cut hair: "In her anger she clutched Rapunzel's beautiful tresses, wrapped them twice around her left hand, seized a pair of scissors in her right, and snip, snap, they were off, and the lovely braids fell to the ground."
Tears/Shut Eyes: After the enchantress/Gothel cut her hair, she sent Rapunzel away, and blinded the prince. When the prince finally found Rapunzel again, she wept and "two of her tears wetted his eyes and they grew clear again, and he could see with them as before."
Pregnant Belly Skirt: I did this for 2 reasons. One is because in earlier tales, Rapunzel innocently says, "Frau Gothel, tell me why it is my clothes are all too tight. They no longer fit me." indicating pregnancy. Two is because I've always wanted to see a pregnant belly option on avatar sites because I know some members are proud mommies. <3
As for the color options... I love pink.. and gold... and the white just went nicely. So I have 6 color combinations for each~
THE WITCH
1) hooked nose; like those traditional witch ones...so extra large and with warts. Though I had no clue how to draw warts. >.<
2) walking cane/staff/stick; pretty self-explanatory as well.
3) worn cloak with patches; can have two versions a short and long, I drew the short one only but the long would pretty much be the same thing but extended and with more patches where the witch fixed the holes in the cloak.
4) worn apron with patches; pretty self-explanatory as well.
COLOURS: Come in white base with black accent, black base with red accent, brown base with green accent. Nothing bright. The white shouldn't be a pure white since it should like an aged white. Feel free to include wrinkles in the clothing as well to show how it has been worn daily over the years.
HANSEL
5) shirt with stripes on the arms; pretty self-explanatory, and my apologies that the colouring wasn't great here but I can't exactly colour on white out tape. >.<
6) striped shorts; pretty self-explanatory.
7) leather shoes; pretty self-explanatory.
COLOURS: Clothes come in green base with red accent, blue base with orange accent, and purple base with yellow accent. Shoes come in brown, black, and white.
GRETEL
8) quadruple striped bandanna; pretty self-explanatory.
9) quadruple striped vest; tied together at the front with string.
10) quadruple striped skirt; pretty self-explanatory, plus with frayed ends or tassels at the end/edge.

BACKGROUNDS&ACCESSORIES
11) gingerbread house; where the witch lives, made of graham crackers and covered with various candies such as candy cane door arches, gumdrop doorknobs, and other candies. Edges of roof and walls are covered with icing. Optional window panes are made of clear sugar.
12) forest w/ beautiful white bird; the forest that hansel and gretel were left and lost in, plus the beautiful white bird that lead them to the clearing in which the witch's house is located. Bird and forest can be worn separately.
13) vase of treasure and precious stones; an ornate bronze vase with golden designs, filled to the brim and overflowing with treasure/gold and precious stones. Also can be worn as separate piles of treasure/gold and precious stones on head, held in hand, or in piles by the feet.
14) loaf of bread; the loaf of bread hansel and gretel brought with them the second time their father took them out to the forest so that they could make a breadcrumb trail since they couldn't collect pebbles from outside to create a pebble trail like the first time they were taken out to the forest. loaf is handheld, the breadcrumb trail and pebble trail are by the feet.
15) wood stove; the wood stove where the witch was planning to cook hansel and where she ultimately died when gretel pushed her in, slammed it shut and locked the bolt. it is black with gold trim. sorry my picture of it looks really ugly. >.<
COLOURS: For the piles of precious stones, I used sapphires, emeralds, rubies, amethysts, and I wanted to use diamond but didn't have a clear pencil crayon. >.< Treasure/gold is obviously gold in colour. For everything else, just go with the picture's colours.

edit; Here is the Industrial Angelic version that goes with the set. The wings are also to be included in the Industrial Gothic outfit except in that maroon color I used.
Industrial Angelic Entry #2 (Working on the Industrial Gothic part to this outfit and will update as soon as it is finished)
Belts, belts, and more belts! This set is aimed more at future technology, hence the circuit pattern throughout. Includes: Top with studded side collar, face mask, left glove with studs, skimpy bottom with attached, draping belt, left thigh belt, right thigh belt, and a pair of boots. All belts have studs, and I was sure to include each of the three colors on every pose. The same outfit with different coloring. I'd have done mechanical wings for this outfit but I didn't know how to draw them. Instead I will reference you with a picture:

Head - a pointed sort of Fascinator
Neck - a huge pointed collar
Top - a two piece jacket one is over the shoulder and connects to the sleeves by belts the other is sort of an asian cut over the bust
Arms - pointed sleeves
Bottoms - a pointed skirt
Feet - Big, long pointed boots.
I'm bad and drawing, I'm sorry it's not even. I'm just not good at that but I meant it to be more even.
Head : She has a huge big double heart headband - I wanted lace around the hearts but I can't draw lace. At all.
Top : A basic white frilly lolita top with purple / lilac ribbons and collar and lace.
Arms : Basic white cuffs, with purple / lilac corset closures. More lace that I can't draw
Hands : Heart ring to match
Bottom : Lilac bloomers with purple / white ribbons and lace embellishments. One heart patch.
Legs : White classic lolita socks with lilac hearts and lace
Shoes : Shiny lilac classic lolita MaryJane style shoes with a heart opening.

Industrial does not neccessarily mean futuristic but they could do nice together. I think industrial I think hard metals, gears, assembly lines, similar to stuff you find in steampunk but without the victorian leanings, along with a general absence of anything organic.
