Greetings, subjects and visitors to my realm.

I, the great Emperor Eosric of the Ta'ecelle, am in something of a quandary. My tailors, it seems, have rebelled, and upon this fine morn, I found my precious wardrobe set afire!

Now, now, good people, I assure you, justice will be done, you need not trouble yourselves with these grim tidings. However! As you can plainly see, I require a replacement of raiment, and while there is a certain majesty to Imperial nudity, alas, I fear my senators will take umbrage should I attend the high council thus on display.

So! I am issuing a proclamation, a great tourney of needle and thread, the grand melee of stitch and counter stitch! You shall strive and struggle against each other to craft clothing worthy of your glorious lord!

And the winner, the champion of seam and hem, shall have the honor, the exaltation, of dressing my glorious self!

*what's that you say? Oh, all right!*

*ahem*

My steward wishes me to inform you that the champion shall receive grand remuneration for their services.

You may post one now and post more later if you would like. When you post later ones, it would be most helpful if you mention that it is a second or third entry, in order to keep the submissions organized and help the emperor in the most efficient way.

Yes, it has to be a male avatar.

No, you do not get to actually put the items on the avatar. This is merely because of security reasons. All NPCs have access to the staff forum and moderator powers. We can't have a non-staff user accessing an account with those permissions.

My avi is male, he may look female but he is male.

Whether the base is male or not, that is definitely the female jacket. It clearly has breasts. >.>

Also, it would be advised to not use the current event items for the submissions, if possible, as the emperor is an NPC in this event and should look distinct from the others.

Lucid, feel free to overrule me on that. :p

I'm not going to stop anybody from using any current event items, but the winning avatar will be distinguishable from all the other NPCs. If somebody layers the current event items in a creative way that looks vastly different from the NPC that the items come from, that's great. But it's a difficult task.

On another note, Katyasha, your submission image is currently a link to your live avatar, meaning if you change your avatar your submission will also change. I cannot accept that link. You must upload the avatar you wish to submit to an image hosting site like photobucket, tinypic, et cetera, and posts that link instead. Thank you.

By the way, do you care about backgrounds?

Because no other NPC currently has a background, I don't think I will take backgrounds into account. If the background has no effect on the avatar, but the avatar was winning material, I would simply strip the background off the avatar. However, if the background is important to the overall look of the avatar, such as if it hides part or all of a back layer, I might leave it on.

In short, for consistency's sake, don't use backgrounds unless it's important to the layering.
