Do you Save Avatars?
 

So does anyone other than myself save OTHER people's avatars if they like them? ^_^

I just thought of this for a selfish reason because...it seems I didn't save my fiery avatar from last month. =( I don't even remember what I did. >__< At least with one unsaved avatar I happened to screenshot the thing so I can remake it later...soon hopefully.

Anyways who else saves other people's avatar? Did you save any of mine? /ego/ And have you ever thought back "dang it I forgot to save my previous avatar!" just as I'm dong now?

i sometimes save avatars i like for various reasons >.>

I save other people's avatars when I'm doing an art request of the avatar. Because:

1) I wouldn't remember what they look like

and

2) People have a tendency to change their avatars so often that I would lose the design if they changed it after they asked for the request

Averting your eyes the other way Ashy. You don't save our avatar for...naughty drawing do you? owO?

EDIT: Echo// Yes for art request that is practically a must. Usually I include the person's avatar on a layer in the artwork I'm trying to do just in case. Something I learned after picking up an art I owed a friend after MONTHS. Fortunately she had other commisions on that avatar so I didn't have to scrap the WIP xD;

Oh and nice avatar =) I'm surprised I didn't see that one pop up when the items were new. Makes it more unique that way though.

This one came about mostly because of Funk's hangout thread XD And I do save most of my better avi's.

Speaking of changing avi's, I used to not change for several weeks on end...

i dont really like changing my awesome avis :s

Ok, ok, that's true. But you were the first one other than myself that I saw have an assassin-esque avi.

I save every single one of my avis and I freak out if I forget or if photobucket doesn't save it properly.

I've saved a few from other people, mostly for art, but a couple just because I liked them. I saved Taiki-in-a-dress during the masquerade because Taiki never wears dresses and I had to preserve that momentous occasion. XD

I grabbed all the Taskal NPC's, but that was for art.

I have saved several other people's avi for my birthday photo manipulation. I also have a whole host of mine and Little3Chocobo's for RP art references.

OH speaking of the war I saved a couple battles of me with another avatar that I thought the physical match was was just right...or maybe it was an NPC. Idk I didn't actually save ones I really wanted to because I'd not see the battle screen in time or clicked it without thinking.

I've saved plenty of avatars =p more likely has saved some of yours as well, but I don't rename them so =p never know who it was =p
I started doing things like that when I knew I couldn't get an item or I just really liked how it looked

(on some sites it is extremely hard to get items can't trade gold and you have to have the really good items for anyone to even want to trade with you, so saving pictures of the items I really wanted was enough for me since I knew I'd never be able to get those items and the items would disappear after a few weeks on the site so you wouldn't see them again unless you stumbled on someone wearing it)

other times it was to draw someone's avatar for them since for some reason some of the people who asked me to draw a certain outfit on their character wanted to change it shortly after they told me which one they wanted -_-
I've saved some of mine as well but normally only ones that I extremely like.

There was the NPC avi thread, in case you didn't know >.< But of course by now some of them are different.

I have never saved an avatar. In fact... I didn't know we could. I have some serious ones I've liked but just got rid of and never used again. lol Rats.

Saved an avi as in, save the PNG of your avi on your profile?

I've saved a few of mine, and one of Luna's...but I usually don't want to save others. Makes me feel a bit funny. :p

I save my own avis by drawing chibis of them in my sketchbook. I can usually work backwards from the finished product to recreate it later.

@Espy: I didn't know haha. I feel no attachment to any of the NPCs though so ;>>

@Serra Britt: I can understand that.I save them because it's so unlikely to see the person wear that avatar again. So if there is something I like about it so much the thought of saving it crosses my mind that's exactly what I do. =)

I do like other people's outfits, but I sort of feel like saving someone's avatar is like taking a picture of someone without them knowing ^^;;; That's how it feels to me, though it's not really the same thing.

I don't save other peoples avatars--- But I DO save all of mine. That also includes ones from other sites as well. :3

I usually save mine for my coloring book

I save my own avvies (since I usually turn them into characters), and I'll save other people's avvies that I like in case I get into a random-doodle mood. :3

And to answer the question in the first post: Yes, Jurinjo, I've saved one of your avvies. Well, the current one as of this posting. Love the icy colors. >u<

If I'd thought about it before, I'd've probably been a creep and saved all of Ju's avis.
