@littl3chocobo: Do you mean do I use bases? No, I do not. I sometimes hold my mangas in the air though to get a certain style going. My mother-in-law teases me when I do that. Because I'm sitting in the big black recliner in the living room, laptop in my lap, mouse and tablet in my right hand and a bunch of mangas on the table next to me, frequently grabbing one to peruse around in it and find a reference that I like. lol I also draw from photographs that I take of myself in certain poses or of friends or my fiance. (He hates posing for me to draw!) |
well you have a knack for picking poses other people have picked for certain, pose-jacking is no crime haha, i just thoought from the looks of several you used base references

@littl3chocobo: haha yeah. I use a LOT of manga stuff. Or if I see a pose I like, I'll make my fiance pose like that for a few minutes or hours in order to get the clothing layout right. I made him pose once with a shirt in his lap like a skirt, so I could get the wrinkles in a skirt right. He was pouting the whole time! SO CUTE! I also DO look at other peoples' poses and use them yes, but I try to change things in them if I do to make it my own, it's difficult to think up brand new never been used poses sometimes! I mean, if I look online I bet I can find 30 pictures that are posed JUST like I'm sitting right now! lol
@Espy: OK. I can draw from descriptions pretty well too! 0.o Yay! Long posts = monies! How do I get the Event Currency though? |
true but sometimes it's a hassle to draw a line between what is considered ok and what is not, personally i use fre-to-use stock for some of my stuff

@littl3chocobo: lol yeah it is. I've used Manga Renders sometimes to help with a hand or a foot (I have... issues... with them sometimes) But yeah I've used free stock as well. I used to use Adobe Bridge and get the free stock there, but Adobe no longer has that. Maybe I'll take a look at the site that you mentioned! It'll make my fiance happy not to pose! I even made him hold up our cat for a few minutes once to get a pose for a girl holding a bunny! The cat was pretty mad and he kept trying to jump down and away! hehe
@Ashy: THANK YOU! For fixing that! I REALLY had no Idea how to! And I'm not too sure on the currency here so I tried to make reasonable prices. Should I maybe ask people to pay what they think it's worth? |
Event currency...Unfortunately, you can't get those, because the event's already ended. The shop's still there for last-minute buying purposes.
And, nah, I've some refs, Just need to get them into my compie. |
Aw darn! I missed the event eh? OH well! I'll wait for your refs too. I'm not online much. (I work and have no internet at home. At the library at the moment) But I SHOULD be on tomorrow and again next Monday OK?
