I like them, and don't knock paint, it's haaaaaaaaard to use, so kudos to you! If you want constructive critique just ask :) I tend to not leave it unless someone specifically requests it.

That being said...I'd recommend saving them as something other than jpgs since that will alter some of your shading, and give you all sorts of 'artifacts' in the image where it tries to smooth things out in compression. save them as bitmaps(bmp) and use another program to turn them into either gif's or png's and you'll not get all the blurriness.

the base maker(for the top and part of the bottom) asks that you post her disclaimer on /all/ dolls made with her base(which is why i don't use them anymore)

<< and the second doll was made on stolen pixels the original image was traced from a copyrighted sourse

If you put up links, and/or just indicate that you used a base most base artists are at least appeased. And if they're not..well...they may wanna step out of the world they live in and get a clue.

nope, this girl wants full credit, that is why i don't use her anymore, it's impractical and clutter-ific

well I did specify with most, and really, that is an unrealistic expectation. After all there are people that aren't part of the 'world' of pixeling that would have no idea what that even means.

true, though those people are not as bad as the zero-edits people >-> those people are bitches and don't get it at all, how am i expected to make nice art without alterations? what if my style is different or the pose is off, what if you've made a mistake or i want to customize the face? total bitches the lot of 'em^^:

i can't do that^^: i have too much pride in myself to do it closest i have ever gotten is color alts where i kept the pixels but dropped the colors the best i could, never got in trouble but for all i know my art may never have gotten clicked *shrugs*

I have only done it...twice? and both were facial edits to change eye shapes. I figured, even should the creator find them I don't know if they'd even notice. And I abide by rules...most of the time.

i follow or don't use^^: and i have very /few/ rules myself, credit, no porn and ocassionally 'don't remove underwear' for iffy stuff where the porn rule is important to have^^:

LOL the few bases I made have two rules, link if you remember and tell me so I can see...and neither is a hard and fast rule. Which reminds me...I need to find a good couple base for an auction win...bleh, sooooooo not motivated....

exactly! I've used that tiny one until my fingers bled(for a friends Strom site none the less) I neeeeeeded a larger one, but could never resize it well enough

those are all lovely bases, sadly the ones in the poses I need I've already got(the winner doesn't want 'standing side by side' sorta things) and while I love many of 'em, she's already vetoed them. ::grumbles:: back to the greater search.

do you need help?

mentally all the time. I just have to find a base that:
1)meets her requirements
2)I can work on
3)has decent editing rules since the characters are...unique

I've been out of the pixeling world for about...well a LOT of years now so I'm not as up to date on where to go looking any more.

i mean i can make a rough of what she wants and you can make it 1x1 and shade for a fin base to use

So, she wants a couple set up, but not a side by side/hugging/typical couple pose. they're soul mates(I'm just cynical enough that statment always makes me snort), they're both apparently lean and he's quite a bit taller than the girl. And, once I shade up the base I'll send it back to you so you can have it for any otehr uses you might want.

uhm ::blinks:: which one? you've got a lot of rp art insofar as I know LOL But all your couple sketches I've seen on here would probably fit the bill, they're super romantic and not 'typical' in any sense of the word

it's my best and favorite rp and i adore the two chars, it finally got to /that/ stage and while this pic is jumping the gun a bit it's well worth it and lucky her it's /free/ haha i usually charge 15-30k for this stuff hahaha
