Yuki Saito Yukio Saito Christophe Molyneuz Blanchard |
Eric was waiting patiently in the master suite of his mansion. Today would be the day he was set to get some help around his lonely, very empty mansion. He'd earned it through his mother's will. The only problem was, she never left any of the staff members with it. He'd grown up in this very house, but back then they had about 50 staff workers around to keep everything tidy and kept up.
They were due to arrive at any given moment. He cut to the chase, getting his extended family to choose the best they could find. He didn't talk with them much but accepted the challenge. He was just glad he wouldn't be lonely any more. He kept his cameras on as he waited, watching his big screen for them to come. It was the only room in the mansion where he could not hide the cameras. He also had a secret room in the mansion where more than one tv was located, a Surveillance room. He had given directions from the hall for them to go to their designated rooms he'd picked out to get unpacked and ready to work. He decided to check the secret room as he would be able to watch in case they arrived at once or something. His cerulean eyes darted to the screens in front of him as he entered the room. It was only accessible from his own room. His ruby hair was tied back in a black silk ribbon and pulled to the side. He often played with his hair in different styles to whatever he felt. It was long enough so he could do lots with it. |
Yuki walked behind his brother like a scared child, they had went from being beaten, abused and humiliated, to being used as dolls and humiliated. When they had changed to their former master they thought their fate had been set in stone, he had been kind enough, they where never 'touched', given what they needed to survive and as a gift for being porcelain dolls where each given a simple yet elegant sash. Things had changed again and once again they where in limbo unsure of what would happen as the prince they where going to be serving had demanded them both as tributes for his birthday present.
Walking up the long path from the gate to the mansion like palace his eyes tried to look for any sign of life on what seemed to be a desolate wasteland void of life. Stopping for a second he looked to his brother “What did we do this time to be sent away?” he whisper lowering his head, as his head moving forward, his hair followed covering his face almost like an avalanche. He felt like they where back with their parents and being punished all over again. Quickly however he began to walk again knowing his brother would end up dragging him if he didn't start moving. Getting to the door he moved forward and opened it for Yukio, as he was younger it was expected of him with their upbringing “The door was a jar, seems like we where expected about this time” he whisper, however if even a gentle breeze passed his words would have been easily drowned out. Waiting for his brother to pass him, he removed his shoes as was customary from where they where from and took his hand once more for safety as they walked into their new cage. His ice blue eyes looked around in wonder to the architecture that was all around them, taking note on the beautifully crafted marble floor to the alabaster pillars and cherry wood furnishings with deep crimson cushions of silk and velvet. It was now he noticed the long red velvet drape curtains and tapestries on the wall, the whole scene was overwhelming to him and so he shook a little. This had only been the main hall, it was so big he swore that a circus and a kabuki could take place at the same time without any difficulties and still have a little room to hold a feast comfortably. By looks alone you would have never been able to tell one from the other, but that is why though they matched in clothing they wore opposite colours, Yuki wearing mostly white and Yukio in mostly ice blue. It had been the only way their former master had ever been able to tell who he was speaking to. Now finished inspecting the main hall and getting over the initial shock of how big it was he noticed a small table at the foot of the stairs, once again letting go of Yukio's hand he moved to the table as he noticed their was something on it. Seeing one of the envelopes having their names on it he opened it and tried to read it. Yuki was dyslexic, however it didn't help their parents didn't help them learn such a skill anyway, it had been eta who took the time to help them learn reading and writing, so he found such a task difficult, moving his finger over the words as he tried to sound them out in his mind “Yukio sempai...” he say standing in front of the other bowing a little, thinking he got what the note said “Our room is room seven, we have to unpack and be ready to start working for our master as soon as possible” he whisper not wanting to disturb their master's household after only being inside it for only a few moments. He handed Yukio the letter so he could double check what was said, he wasn't ashamed he had difficulties, but he wanted to make sure the information was accurate, once again his hand moved into his brothers hand. |
Christophe Molyneuz Blanchard Christophe walked up the solid concrete steps towards the gigantic mansion, dragging alongside himself was a maroon coloured suitcase, Christophe had a little difficulty dragging it up onto the very top step before he placed his hand on the door handle, shaking slightly he opened the door of the mansion as he was directed to within the letter that he had received several weeks prior to himself coming to the mansion. Upon opening the door the very first thing that he saw of the inside was the shining marvellous marble flooring. Christophe was slightly impressed as this would be the place on which he would be living at for God Only Knows how long...the letter he had received did not given directions on how long he would have to stay at the mansion but told of the salary and what kind of jobs he would have to be doing as well. Upon opening the front door Christophe saw two other people at a table, Christophe raised his eyebrow before shaking it away and quietly walked towards the table, his suitcase wheel's glided across the flooring, making hardly a noise. As he walked towards the table he noticed how large the room was...this couldn't compare to any other room in the house...could it? Nevertheless He continued walking, soon he was within inches of the two other males, he made no noise until he got close to them, "Excuse-moi" Christophe said to them as he went through the middle of them, feeling that he may of disrupted them but he wasn't going to make any greetings at the moment. Sighing slightly as he scratched his blacked hair he let go of the suitcase and picked up the envelope that was on the table, Christophe raised his eyebrow a bit as he noticed that the person who wrote them got his full name right...not many people have ever done that. After a second he began to open the envelope that revealed a map of the mansion and a further note. Christophe nodded every so often as he read through the note before placing it and the map into his coat pocket before he began to walk, he had been assigned to Room Eight..." Roum eig'ht " It sounded like that was what he was saying as he began to walk towards his room, his accent will always be there no matter what...he may even mispronounce words as well and may swap them for the french also. |
Yukio is the leader of the two, like always, but he fits into the role easily. It fits him…or he’s made himself fit that role. He prefers to not think of the past, at least not at this point. It really has no bearing on what is happening now…except maybe having the endurance to go on through this since Yukio and his brother have went through worse in the past. He is not happy about being someone’s birthday present, but there is nothing they can do about it now…and probably not ever either, but they’ll both see as they go, now won’t they?
“We’re still alive. And someone with more power wanted us. And those with power always get what they want.” While those without, like the two brothers, are as they are now. No good choices because they have no power. And in this world, it seems very hard to gain power. And Yuki is right about his brother dragging him if need be. This is their present and future as of now. Running would only cause more problems for the two…or delaying the inevitable. Yukio just smiles a bit, an almost invisible smile as his brother opens the door. He heads in, taking off his shoes as well. “Well, we were expected, brother. This person gets what he wants when he wants it I bet.” He’s never been in the position as his own is obviously…otherwise he wouldn’t be where he is now, but that doesn’t matter at all now. He just lets Yuki takes his hand. They could both use comfort deep down, even though Yukio isn’t showing it. He needs to be the strong one, the rock in the storm called their lives, but, as long as he has Yuki, he’ll do it gladly. Yukio is also taking the area in, mainly for landmarks and the like. He doesn’t want to get lost in this large place. That would be embarrassing and possibly end in a punishment which he doesn’t want either. He tugs his brother closer as he notices the shaking. “Calm down. It’ll be alright since we have each other.” He tries to say in a soothing voice. He follows behind his brother, a bit disgusted in a way by all the extravagant things. In his mind, it is a waste of money. How many people could have been fed or clothed or kept warm with all the money it took to have these things? But, it isn’t his money so he has no choice of what happens with it. Yukio doesn’t interrupt or take the envelope from his brother. He’ll at least let Yuki try his best at reading the letter. Yuki can’t become any better at reading unless he practices the skill. It’s the same as learning from your failures (or successes). Yukio takes the letter looking over it, checking Yuki’s work in a way. “That’s what it says. Good job.” He says softly. He’s glad, underneath it all, that his brother is getting better at reading. Yukio narrows his eyes a bit at the other male busting up in between them, but he says nothing for now. He thinks it is more prudent at the moment not to. He moves and takes his brother’s hand. “Let’s get to our room.” He says softly to Yuki before starting to lead the way to their room. |
Yuki looked to his brother as he spoke “We aren't alive Yukio sempai, we just exist at the whim of another” he say quietly, no matter how it went history seemed to repeat itself on them, same old life just a new owner and location “Can we break the cycle?” he would ask his elder brother, walking within him a little. He really didn't want to be here and could tell Yukio didn't either but nothing good would come from delaying their fate. He just wanted to break down and cry and though he wanted to try and be strong like his brother so held back his tears.
Nodding hearing they must have been expected “The door was a jar so it would seem we where” he whisper “Yukio sempai, he is our master now we can't think like that... we can get punished” he say in small voice his eyes looking around as if he felt they where being watched “Do you feel eyes on us?” he ask his voice shaking showing he was unnerved at the thought. Feeling his hand being taken he smiled weakly glad for his siblings strength, he knew if it hadn't been for Yukio he would have given up and perished by now, Being brought closer he placed his head on his brother's chest instantly feeling safe, Yukio was more than a sibling to him, he was also his best friend and parent in away always giving him support, guidance, comfort, he even gave him some of his food when his own wasn't enough. On hearing the words of comfort he nodded “As longs we are together we're safe right, we can get through anything” he say smile, nuzzling into his brothers chest a little. Hearing himself being praised “I'm improving, but it still takes me a long time to read it, and some of the long words are very hard” he say he sounded almost defeated but smiled remembering that he done it well, he managed to read the letter “D-do you think master will allow me time to do studies if I'm good?” he would ask, he wouldn't hold his breath as they where here to serve and if he was learning he couldn't forfil his duty to their master. Seeing the other man come into the area he clung to Yukio as if the newcomer was there to do him harm, now he shook a little more as the comfort was lost. He wondered why he sounded so strange moving between the two languages but said nothing believing to would do more harm than good. His hand being taken again he nodded and followed without question, to the near buy door with their designated number on it. Releasing his brother's hand he opened the door and walked in. Looking around the room was far more simple than the main hall but then they where slaves and didn't deserve such luxurious things as their master of his friends. There where two beds both had plain white cotton blankets, the curtains where ice blue and also made of cotton, the walls had nothing on them “Would you like the left or the right?” he ask not making a move until the other had decided which bed he wanted, but then it wouldn't matter as he would just end up sneaking into his brother bed anyway ((Sorry about it not being to good I am needing to rest)) |
Eric spied through the hidden cameras, figuring since they were all there he could at least let them get to work. The first day would be slacked a bit. He let the intercom come on as he buzzed into the two rooms. "You may take the time provided to get unpacked and more comfortable. Today will be more slack than any others as you are not yet familiar with your surroundings. Feel free to roam around. Be aware the front door and gate are auto-locked."
He then decided to order some take out for the first day's supper as they arrived around 4 pm. He would order 2 large pizzas. Both pepperoni and cheese since he didn't know which they would prefer. He was being nice since he didn't know what else to do either. He hoped his kind words would get them to obey him with whichever needs he had. He still would need more staff but those three were more promising to be treated as favourites. So if he did gain more they would mainly be cleaners and gardeners, nothing more. He would give them an hour or so before announcing it was time to eat and it was a treat this day because it was the first day. He also would take this time to sit and eat with them to get to know them a little more. |
Christophe Molyneuz Blanchard Christophe fiddled with his envelope as he began to walk, his eyes scanning the surrounding area, he was heavily impressed on the building so far...it was lavished...heavily at that. The hanging santeliers...the portraits...the marble flooring...this room itself most cost around over €2 million...probably around $1.8 million. "Cet place...so...like...Château de Versailles...beautiful..." Christophe said to no-one in perticular as he walked, remembering his trip to the Versailles Palace (French Above), everything in that building was made for the building...and it is probably the same here as well. Well now he knew what styled his new master liked...lavished...expensive no doubt. As he began to leave the main room and enter the corridor Christophe ignored the other two for a few seconds as he took in his surroundings again. "Jest...Beautiful..." While he was in school he had learned to appreiate art in all it's forms. Christophe soon made it in front of the door labelled 'Number 8' , he let in a deep breathe before he placed his hand on the door handle, he knew for a fact that since they were servents they would not have any luxiouries...or probably be allowed to have some that they already have. Pushing down the handle he saw the room, it was very simple, one bed, one window, and nothing on the walls...that's pretty much it. Going towards the bed he pulled over his suitcase and sat down, looking around slight, he felt as if he was in a jail cell slightly. Looking around his so-called 'jail cell' he gave a slight sigh before he began to go to his suitcase and was about to open it when he heard a voice, he looked around and saw the small grey intercom box within the room. Christophe looked at it for a few seconds, his eyebrow raised before nodding slightly, he might as well chnage his clothes...for he will see his new master for the first time...time to look presentable! Christophe began to unpack several pieces of clothing that he could wear but decided that he would only change his shirt. Taking off the white shirt he had to show his untouched torso he pulled on a blackish coloured shirt and a almost cotton black jacket that would move at the sight of any wind. He then fell back onto his bed, looking up at the empty ceiling. After a couple of moments Christophe got up from the bed, relaxed himself slightly before he went to the door and opened it u[p, leaving his new bedroom he closed the door behind him and began to wander the hallways, getting very impressed on what was in the house...everal busts of different people, probably past owners of the house since they looked elderly. Soon he stopped in front of a window and looked out, the view...speecless Christophe was...he had always taken beauty and art as one and the same. Christophe held himself as he looked onto the beautiful view before beginning to walk again, still holding onto himself, he may become lost soon. |
“Existence is all we will have. It is our lives.” Yukio does have a point there, but existence isn’t really a life either. Even he knows that. “Maybe. People have been able to break whatever cycle they were in before…we might be able to.” He doesn’t want to just come out and say yes to his brother. He doesn’t want to give Yuki too much hope in case if it is dashed…but he doesn’t want to leave his brother without any hope either. Without hope, great men become nothing and Yukio doesn’t want to see his brother become anything like that.
“I see nothing wrong with speaking the truth.” Even though Yukio has been punished for it multiple times over the years. Though, for now, he isn’t saying anything horrible. He’s just stating an observation; otherwise they would still be dolls essentially. “It wouldn’t surprise me if he was somehow watching. “ Yuki hasn’t been known to be paranoid or anything so if he thinks someone if watching them….they probably are being watched. Yukio smiles a bit as his brother leans in and nuzzles a bit, even though Yuki can’t see it. Deep down, he wishes he could at least get his brother out of this life. But…then what would Yuki do? They’ve really never known anything outside the world of being controlled, of being slaves. He doesn’t want to shove Yuki into that alone either. He knows Yuki could get hurt out there on his own, but…maybe…someday they can both get out and be able to actually live their own lives. “Of course we’ll get through anything.” They have so far. Why would this change anything now? “It’s good though. Even though it takes you awhile, at least you can read it.” There are people out there who can’t even do that much. Slow reading is better than not being able to read at all, at least that’s how Yukio sees it. “He might, but we haven’t met him yet…so…neither of us know what kind of person he might be.” He’s heard stories of terrible masters….and other stories of masters who seem like a godsend or something. Yukio is not happy about the broken contact. The new one didn’t have to go through them. He could’ve done something else, but it isn’t worth it. Now, if that man was trying to take Yuki’s food…that would be worth it in his mind. And so, he takes his brother’s hand and off to their room they go, leaving the other one to do whatever he wishes. Once in their room, Yukio looks around the room. It’s simple…well…not compared to some places they have stayed, due to their masters or other circumstances, including punishment. Compared to those, this place is lavish. Extremely so. Yukio sits down on the bed to the right. “This one.” They both know what’s going to happen anyway, so it doesn’t matter which one he picked. Yukio kind of jumps at the intercom. He’ll get used to it soon enough….it also gives more of a hint that they probably are being watched. It isn’t like he has anything to unpack really. What would he have? “Do you want to explore Yuki?” |
Yuki looked to his brother when he spoke about existence and the cycle they seemed to endlessly be in “Just existing makes us a hollow shell...” he say in a quiet voice, he knew it was no life to live and he knew it was one they both wanted to leave, on hearing others may have broken the cycle before, he smiled. Yukio always told him stories of people who started out like they where and through one simple twist of fate everything changing and the person being someone of importance. Those stories filled him with hope that they to might find that one thing that would change their fate.
“Truth is one of the seven codes of bushido, but if nothing nice can be said then it shouldn't...” he shuddered a little remembering the time he himself had been punished by their father for calling him a good for nothing drunk in anger. Though it was the truth he was beaten within an inch of his life and it was because of it he was so skittish and quiet about everything afraid that the same punishment would come again if he said anything bad at all. “If our master is watching us, then I would guess it would be through cameras, and with how much money he has... he would have enough to make sure they where never found even if we where looking for them” he say holding the other's hand, his voice showed it was both an opinion and an observation on the subject. Looking up from the nuzzle he smiled hearing Yukio speak, it was true they had been through very bad things in their past and yet when they where about to breakdown, or give up mainly himself on both, the other was always their to remind them that as long as they where together nothing in the universe could effect them. “We'll get though it, we have each other... that's all we need” his voice showed a lot of love and devotion to his brother, he believed he needed nothing else so longs he had Yukio there to help protect and nurture him. Yuki giggled a little innocently at his brothers praises, he was happy that he was making his brother proud of him “I hope he isn't like our first master..” he say clenching ad his sleeves looking down. Their first master knew that he was dyslexic and still gave him duties that required him to read like going to get the shopping with a shopping list, telling him he wasn't allowed to ask for help to get the items. Sometimes he came back with the wrong items and was punished by not being given meals for that day. Looking around the room once more he walked to the opposite bed and sat at the very edge, and looked for his brother for a moment, he was happy that their master seemed kind enough to allow them to remain in the same bedroom, but he also felt like their could have been a hidden agenda to such kindness. As he was about to open his mouth to ask Yukio something he heard a voice coming from the grey box at the bottom of their small room. It startled him so much he fell off the bed and landed on the floor. They didn't have much to pack a night yukata each, three extra pieces of fabric each to place in their hair and three changes of clothing identical to what they where wearing minus the sash. Standing he rubbed his behind a little to sooth the pain away “We can go explore, but I'd rather explore the garden” he say with a smile, he loved to be surrounded by beautiful things, and flowers reminded him of them as they to where trapped but where still vibrant and full of life. He knew however as the doors where automatically locked there would be no chance to go to the garden but looking out the window would make him happy “Perhaps I can even cook!” he seemed excited at the thought, it had taken him a bit of time to learn how to do so as it was all trial and error on recipes but he cooked well enough now that you would have though he was professionally taught by a world class chef |
Eric was casually checking all three on his monitors. He felt he didn't need to use the speaker function to hear what they were saying as it wasn't necessary right now. He preferred to not listen in on things unless it was a certain situation. This was not one of those cases so he was fine with muting it.
He would mention about the garden at another time. It had a secret entrance to get to it which did not involve doors. Instead there was an entryway that led to the garden. He wondered if anyone would find it without him saying anything or not. He noticed they started drifting out of their rooms to go and explore. That was good. Though one might need a map. "Supper is in 50 minutes. Hope everyone likes pizza. If not eat it anyway it won't kill you." Eric said into the intercom as he made it go off for the whole house this time. "Tomorrow is where things get into the steady pace of things." He would have one of them cooking and the others would choose their speciality. |
“But…without that hollow shell for now…we can’t become something different in the future.” Yukio just means that if they don’t keep on going for now, they can’t become better in the future. Though that doesn’t mean Yukio is happy about the shell thing, but it’s what they’ve got for now. Those stories also give Yukio hope, but what gives him more hope, truth be told, is seeing his brother willing to keep on going after all that had happened throughout their lives.
“True, but very few people follow those codes anymore…otherwise…” Otherwise their lives would be much different at this point, now, wouldn’t they? But that is just Yukio’s point of view. Everyone has a different one. “I still want to find these cameras…if he is watching.” Only because it would be kind of creepy to have cameras in the bathrooms. He’s not too big on him or his brother being watched taking a shower or anything of the like. If it was just him being watched, he wouldn’t be too happy about it, but he’d be much happier than his brother being watched. He knows what some people are like and what they’d do, possibly, to him and his brother. He shakes his head a bit, trying to push away those thoughts for now. Yukio smiles softly before pulling Yuki over and hugging him close. “We’ve gotten through everything together so far. We’ll continue to do so.” It’s not like he’s going to like Yuki by himself or anything. That would hurt them both too much. He just holds his brother tighter at the mention of their first master. “I will protect you.” He can’t let that happen again. Back then, he had no clue what to do. But now? Still no clue really, but he won’t allow it this time. What was done to Yuki…was just cruel, but Yukio always made sure his brother got something to eat. Yukio chuckles a bit before going to help his brother up. “Well, let’s look then….there’s probably a way out there…there isn’t a point in a garden if people can’t go out and enjoy it.” That’s what gardens are for. Some are for specifically meditation…and others to remind us of the beauty that still exists in the world. “Maybe we’ll be able to go into the garden someday.” He smiles a bit at Yuki’s excitement. “Maybe the master will let you cook, but that’s up to him.” Of course. |
Yuki looked at him for a moment thinking about shells for a moment “Shells are like a cocoon to make a butterfly?” he would ask simply trying to work through things in his mind, the way Yukio had made it sound was that this was only going to be for a while and eventually they would get rid of the shell and be come whole and beautiful, and that filled him with happiness and hope. Hearing Yukio talking about people no longer following the codes they where brought up with he looked down.
“But we still follow them right, we're good boys” he seemed unsure, he didn't want to bad, because he knew punishment followed when they where bad, it had always been that way, but because of how they where raised he was unsure when he was being good and when he was being bad so he always double checked with Yukio “But how would we find them, camera's can be very small and with the mountain of wealth master has we'd never find them” he hadn't realized he had just repeated himself, not that it would matter, he knew it was the truth. He hadn't even thought of camera's potentially being in the bathrooms, after all in his mind nothing interesting ever happened in the bathroom and he was innocent enough to believe that no one could be perverted enough to look on someone’s body except if they loved them especially if they where boys. Yuki giggled happily being hugged closed “Yup, so longs we have and we will do” his voice showed he felt completely safe with his brother there with him, hugging him back he hopped that would give him some sort of happiness, it was the only thing he could ever do but he never thought that if was enough for all that Yukio done and put himself through to help him. Feeling the hug tighten he look to his brother and shook a little knowing exactly why he was doing it “I know but I don't want you to get hurt anymore because of me” he say in a quiet voice He felt like the cause of many of the problems because he couldn't understand or work as fast as many of their masters had wanted “I am trying to improve so you don't get hurt but...” he looked down sad he knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the tool box but he did try, but no matter what it always seemed like he was so many steps behind he would never catch up. “Promise you won't get into trouble because of me” he say quietly clinging to his brother, he was afraid that he would be taken from him as it had happened a few times as a punishment for misbehaving “Well lets look for a way to the garden, there might be a secret door or something” he say with a grin as they began to walk but then he tilted his head “If we can get out to the garden couldn't we run?” he say his innocence easily shown through his question, biting his lip after a minute and shook his head, his long snowy white hair dancing around his form “Nevermind, we wouldn't get far and if we did we would have no where to go” he say as he worked out the cons of what he suggested. “I like garden's they are outside, and beautiful and peaceful and everything seems in harmony” he say looking out the window seeing the garden “So beautiful” his voice sounded distant as he got lost in the marvel that was the garden “I hope so, it's the only thing I can do right to prove I'm not a waste of space” his smile faded, he had been called so many names by the ones who owned them and their friends that he started to believe that he wasn't worth anyone's time; if it hadn't been for Yukio he would have surly taken his own life by now. Hearing a voice coming out of nowhere he came out of his little world and jamp clinging to Yukio once more his eyes darting around the hallway “Y-Yukio...” his voice showing he was scared as he thought he was starting to hear voices “I'm hearing a voice...” he say gently, but after a minute he recognized the voice as the one they had heard in their room “Fifty minutes is that over an hour?” his voice was sincere as he asked the question |
Christophe Molyneuz Blanchard Christophe footsteps slightly echoed into the empty hallway, he could hear the vibration from the movement hit off the walls and expand into the forecorners of the hallway, in truth he was feeling slightly bored, not as bored as you would think. He was in a curious mood but felt like he had seen everything that there is to offer in the mansion. The flooring has been the same everywhere he went (well besides his bedroom), the walls were the same as well, the vibrant red and cream stood out from the marble made tiles that were the surface, they matches perfect which gave the annoying feeling to Christophe, he likes things to be neat but this was slightly ridiculious. Christophe's crystal blue eyes peeked through the eyelids, taking in every piece of light he could catch as he examined the room, as he walked but then something caught his light eyes, walkign towards a class window Christophe raised his eyebrow slightly as he saw what was out there...the Garden. The Garden he could see....all the hedges...the roses..all the different flowers and trees. The bark of the trees showed out from the garden, the light colours of the roses did also...the reds, yellows...even oranges...they give the green filled area a hint of colour. This area spoke out for Christophe as he stared at it, his hands inches away from the glass windows but decided not to touch it, in fear of desicrating the clear window appearance. The next thing that catch the eyes of Christophe was the Sun, it shine dso brightly in the cloudless sky it gave enough light to see every piece of land in the garden. "Le Soliel...c'est vraiement beau..." Christophe whispered in his language tongue, meaning, 'The Sun...It Is Truely Beautiful'. Christophe felt like he must get out of this house now! He wanted to explore the area more on the outside...but how does he get outside firstly...now that is the true question. Seconds later Christophe went into action, looking to his left and to the right, seeing the same old thing a she saw earlier he then nodded a handle on the window, raising as eyebrow he decided to walk over to the handle. He examined it for a moment before realising that it was a door. He smiled but then ignored what the master said on the intercom and continued on with his work. Christophe touched the handle and watched a sit gently went down witht he force of his hand. Once the door was opened Christophe gave a small smile as he could smell the outside...flowers he could smell...all very light. That door must be one of those garden doors. Christophe went outside onto a gravel path and closed the glass door behind him. He smiled before he began to walk on the thick gravel, into the garden....he felt alone. |
Eric had noted that one of them finally found the secret door to the garden. He smirked slightly as his hidden tactics had paid off. He decided to venture out of his secret room and wrote up a letter for the boy. He would hand that to him at a later time. Within it was a little reward for finding the door. He knew nobody could run from the house from the garden as there was a 10ft fence.
The reward in question would be redeemable after they've all chosen which positions they are more qualified for. He would test them all on which they'd be good at after letting them choose. He'd still make them try out each task anyway just in case any of them got sick. Then the next in line would really be the substitute cook, cleaner and butler/gardener at least until he got more people on hand. He walked out of his room, envelope in pocket. He decided to wander to the kitchen for a slightly small snack before the pizza would arrive as he hadn't ordered it yet. He figured he should do that soon since he didn't want free pizzas even though they were always good. He preferred to have warm pizza that was still steamy. He bypassed the twins as he roamed the halls towards the kitchen. Once in the kitchen, he routed through the cupboards and made some grocery lists for each of them. He would accompany them on the trip to pay for it all but really they needed tons of things since the cupboards were bare and the fridge was really a pity. There was only enough for maybe one breakfast. He figured they should go after supper. |
Yuki continued to walk down the hall smiling his hand brushing against the wall almost if he was feeling his way around, his other hand in Yukio's, but took his hand away and signed in their own code letting him know he could feel a breeze it was faint but there and if he wanted to see if they could find the source as it might lead to the garden. Seeing another person he bowed a little before hugging into Yukio more shaking, he didn't know why but he knew that the one who just walked past was their owner.
Waiting till Eric moved away he looked up to his brother “That is our master, he is to finely dressed to be like us” he say in a whisper but then but his lip “Or he could be the favourite slave” he say looking down but then if he was indeed like them Yuki thought he would have at least stopped to say hello and ask their names. He just moved closer to his brother and shook a little wanting to get out of there, he would rather be a doll in a place where people would talk to them than a place that was beautiful yet desolate of any life and warmth. Taking his brother's hand once more he moved down the hallway his hand on the wall almost like he was following something, his eyes closing he felt peaceful somehow but he placed this down to the fact his brother was close to him, protecting him, reassuring him that everything would be okay so longs they where together and that no power in the universe would be able to tear them apart, he was innocent enough to believe such things, but then why wouldn't he Yukio had been there doing this for as long as he remembered. Before he knew it he stopped and opened his eyes, looking around he found they where inside the grand library, as with the main hall it was lavishly furnished with a large cherry oak desk, deep forest green velvet curtains, all books within it where first editions. Looking to the books he seemed to get frustrated as the words where so big “Yukio...” he looked down his voice showing how upset he was about not being able to read the words, but raising his head he studied them once more. A single book seemed out of place to him and so went to pick it up. Pulling the book back the book shelf moved into the wall Yuki jamp behind Yukio and started crying “I-I didn't mean to” his voice was panicked as he believed he had actually damaged the wall of the library but feeling the breeze he wiped his tears away on his sleeve “Th-this was the breeze I felt, shall we follow it?” he would let Yukio decide he was the stronger one in his opinion and had never steered them wrong in the past |
Yukio smiles at his brother a bit. “That’s a good way to think of it.” He wasn’t thinking of it that way...though it is a nice way to think of things, less depressing. “Yes, we’re good boys…but remember, even the best people mess up and do something wrong once in awhile.” Humans are humans. And humans are imperfect. “And sometimes…people expect perfection.” Which is why Yuki sometimes gets punished….like with the shopping list. Yukio always really wanted to hurt that master once he knew about that little thing. “Luck? I doubt they’re so small that they can’t be seen, so there is a little possibility that we could find it. And Yukio isn’t planning on bringing up cameras in the bathrooms unless he actually happened to find one. Until then, he’ll hope and pray that there aren’t any.
He smiles a bit more. To his knowledge, his brother is the only one who has been able to get him smile. Take that as you will. He trusts Yuki the most out of everyone he’s met so far, to say the least. That feeling is mutual. “I’d rather it be me than you.” He says softly, especially in cases like that. Where Yuki can’t really help it and he tried his hardest. “I…can’t promise that, but I’ll try not to.” He won’t let Yuki get a punishment he doesn’t deserve if he can help it. Though, sometimes, there’s nothing he can do about it either way. “Just keep on improving though…becoming better is never a bad thing.” Unless one becomes proud because of it. Yukio takes his brother’s hand as they begin to walk. He’s taking in his surroundings a bit since he doesn’t like the idea of getting lost. “Ah…probably not actually. This is a more upscale garden. There might be expensive plants here.” Since Yukio doesn’t know what actually makes a plant expensive. “Or rare plants…it might be fenced or gated and the like. So no one can steal the expensive and rare plants.” Though it is possible that they could get out that way. “That’s the main problem.” Yukio doesn’t even have a clue of where they might or might not go, but maybe he’ll be able to figure something out someday. “That’s the point of gardens, to remind us that those things, peace, harmony, and beauty, still exist in this world.” Even though people may not see it often enough. “Don’t be like that.” There’s sadness in his voice as he pulls Yuki over and hugs him. “You aren’t a waste of space…they just never saw the good points apparently. They were blind.” It hurts him any time that Yuki thinks like this. No one should ever think that way. Yukio kind of jumps as well, not expecting that voice again. He needs to get used to the voices out of nowhere. He kind of starts petting Yuki a bit, trying to be comforting and calm him down. “It’s a voice we’ve heard before.” It’s the master. “It’s close to an hour. An hour is 60 minutes, remember?” He’s just reminding him a bit of time counting. Repetition is the key to learning. Yukio nudges his brother a bit, giving him the go ahead on the find the breeze thing. As Yuki bows, on instinct Yukio does the same thing. Habits are hard to break, be they good or bad. “I don’t think he is a slave. A house like this, if there were more…we would’ve heard them or something by now, wouldn’t we?” He’s not completely sure about that. Some people are pretty good at being sneaky/quiet. He wraps an arm around Yukio a bit as the other shakes. “It’ll be okay.” Yukio sighs a bit in the room. So many books….too bad they didn’t have the chance to read them probably. Then…he could help Yuki with them…and eventually he could read them on his own. And even if he needed help, there are more things to learn from books than what they’ve learned so far. They’ll need knowledge if their fates ever change…and it never hurts to better yourself. He just tries to soothe his brother as the bookshelf moves. “Calm down, it’s alright. It’s….apparently meant to do that. You putting a book back isn’t going to do something like that.” Unless the walls were made of dust or something that is. At the question, he tugs Yuki forward and through the open way. (I hate this reply btw) |
Yuki listened to everything his brother said “I like butterfly’s though their life last only one day, they are beautiful and live it it's fullest” he say happily, though put his finger to his mouth thoughtfully as he digested the last part “But if nothing is perfect, then why do people expect it? Isn't impossible?” he ask his voice showed he was confused on the matter “We are good boys for trying right” his voice showing worry, he didn't want to be punished for something that was out of his power. “We are going to try and find the cameras?” he say blinking bringing his hand to his side once more, he was worried about the cameras but more so about what would happen if they where found with them.
Yuki grinned smiled seeing his brother smile, seeing Yukio smiling always made him happy and in these dark times they both needed the light that smiling brought. He trusted his brother with his very essence to the point if he was told that dying was the only way to bring happiness to them, he would do it without a second thought. To many he seemed a little 'to' trusting, but why would he doubt the only person that had been there with him every second of his life, through the light and darkness each day brought into their existence “I don't want you hurt if you have done nothing wrong Yukio... You need to promise” he say with a sad tone looking down. He knew for a fact that the subject had been closed but he still wanted to try and get the promise one more time. “I'll keep improving, promise” he say with a soft smile “If pride is a sin, is it wrong I am proud of myself when I can read a new word?” he ask that had always confused him, as the two things contradicted itself “Flowers are flowers, they do not judge one another, it's nor right that others do” he say with a pout, he didn't understand these types of things so once again his innocence once again showed “Or the fences and gates could be there to keep us in” he say his hand going to his sash “Former master said we where like rare flowers” he say never understood why, but then again how many Japanese children where born with ice blue eyes and snow white hair. Looked up ans he was pulled into his brother's warm, loving embrace “I've been called it so much Yukio Sempai, it must be true” he say quietly, he couldn't help it if it took him a while to understand things it was how the gods had made him, he didn't want to upset his twin by speaking in such a way but how could he really think any different the only one that ever supported him was Yukio and as much as he loved and valued his brothers words, at the end of the day it was the ones with the power that's opinion mattered but he tried not to let it get to him, sometimes however it was just hard to do. “I know I have good points, everyone does but because I keep making idiotic mistakes my good points are never seen” he say quietly nuzzling lint his brothers chest for support. Yuki nodded to what was said “Perhaps a tone would be better to come before he speaks, so we know that master is talking and not just our imaginations” he say with a small voice, almost purring as he was petted. He never minded it, in fact he thought of it as a way of comfort as he always got petted if he was scare or worried. “Fifty minutes is close to an hour...” he repeated, and mouthed it a few times silently before nodding “More than an hour or less than an hour?” he wanted to clarify, but got side tracked at what had been said “You think there is only me, you the person that mixes languages and master in the house...” he looked down to the floor and shook a little “This place is going to be scary at night” his voice showing he was scared, he never did get over the fear of the dark but then again when most bad things seem to happen at night, how could you get over such a fear? It just reinforces it. Hearing Yukio's words of comfort he nodded “So longs we are together everything will be okay” he say smiling, he truly did believe those words. Looking Yukio as he said that it was meant to happen he felt at ease “O-okay” he say, his voice shaking a little still as he was tugged through the doorway, not that he needed much influencing. He didn't want to be separated from Yukio and so moved down the long narrow corridor that seemed to lit by torches that ignited as they walk close to them, each time it happened Yuki jamp “It's creepy down here” he say looking at the Victorian craftsmanship. After about fifteen minutes, several twists and turns and a stair case they came to a stone wall. On the wall there where three switches, one with a picture hour glass, one with a picture of a brain and one with a picture of an eye. Looking at them he blinked “The eye is perception, the brain is mind and the hourglass time” he say continuing to look at the three he bit his lip and moved his hand to the switch that had the eye near it, then he moved it to the one with the mind, and then to the one with the hourglass, watching as a door opened to the garden “Perception and mind can either lose or gain sharpness in time” he say looking to Yukio for a minute to see what he thought, before his eyes going back to the door. A fresh cool summer breeze could easily bee felt on their skin, as the sunlight kissed their forms, taking his brother's hand he moved through the door into what seemed like a garden that hadn't been touched by time, the garden seemed wild and unkempt almost like it had been forgotten by everyone, as it seemed self enclosed from the rest of the house. Moving away from Yukio he tried to see if he could find some gardening tools “Perhaps it can be our secret until we can get it neatened up and we can present it to master” he say thoughtfully as he continued searching |
Christophe could hear the torutring noise of the gravel underneath his slightly torn converes break into smaller pieces, basically dying into the dust of the earth. Christophe's eyes wandered from the left to the right every so often, looking at his surroundings and taking in on what he was able to see from his point of view. He noticed all the different kinds of roses that were laid out neatly...some were growing slightly wild but none needed to be cut down either...so that was a good sign. After a couple of minutes as he spotted the different flowers in the garden he soon came to a building...but it looked like it was attached to the main mansion, Christophe couldn't think what this was called but it started with a C, the walls were made of glass and there was a glass door as well. Hesitating for a moment he reached out and twisted the door knob before he was hit with a lavender frageriance from inside, the inside had several pots of growing lavender. He smiled slightly before entering the mansion once again, looking at the room he saw some chairs, a table and another door, this is where he would spend his free time. Smiling he saw another door and went towards that, twisting the knob he was now in a lighted corridor, but no portraits were held here...only lighting. Christophe raised an eyebrow before he took a left, unsure on where he was going, he could hear noise...footsteps maybe? [[Bad bad bad!!!] |
Eric gave everyone enough time to wander around a bit but hopefully not enough time to get lost. He knew the home was big and held a few secrets. He didn't want any of his workers getting lost since he did need people around in his lonesome life. Shortly after he had ordered the two large pizzas, 2L Pepsi and a medium garlic fingers.
Soon the doorbell rang as Eric had anticipated within 20 minutes after the initial 15 to cook the food. He was close by and had to pay for the food anyhow. He opened the door, grabbed the boxes and bag before paying and tipping the delivery guy. He decided to take the more comfortable approach and allow them to all eat in the lounge that was close enough to the dining hall. He went to the kitchen to use the intercom as it was the closest one available. "Pizza is here. Come on in before it gets cold. I'll be in the main hall waiting." Eric said into the thing before waiting where he said he would. It was the easiest way to find him and get around the place. It was a good thing there were speakers in the garden as well since otherwise his efforts would have been in vane. Once everyone gathered in the main hall he led them to the lounge. Inside there was a loveseat, couch and two comfortable chairs all matching the room. There was also a nice oak table to put food and coasters on for drinks. He divided up the pizza with two slices each and a few garlic fingers before pouring his glass of pepsi. He would talk more about the rest of today's plans and some introductions while eating. |
Christophe had wandered the portraitless corridor for several minutes untill he took one turn right and went straight ahead before he was in a hallway full of them...the lighting in the room was dim though. Walking for several more he was thinking to himself, 'this place is pretty big' and 'I wonder what my new master would be like...' and stuff around that. He was just plain curious that was all.
Soon Christophe heard a newly familiar voice before he nodded to himself and decided to try and find the way to the main hall. As he walked he was fitting himself as well, making sure his hair was tidy, making sure everything was tidy as well...and not he had no spots on his face which gladly he didn't...the use of hands these days. After a couple of moments he found a bright coloured door that stood ot, opening it he saw that he was in a hall now...was it the main hall? Christophe then noticed a red haired male. That must be his new master. Smiling slightly he quietly slipped through the door and began to walk up to the red haired male, small smile on his face. "Bonjour, monsieur..." Christophe said good day , sir in french, his accent clearly visible. He stood there, hands by his side , waiting for the others that he had seen early unless they were guests but probably weren't. Once everyone was there he was lead to the lounge where they soon began to have their dinner, all that Christophe would have was his drink...he didn't like greasy foods...or fast food. |
“Yes, we could learn from them.” So few people try to live their lives anywhere close to the fullest. Some can’t live it to the fullest. At least not yet. “I think it’s impossible unless you are divine. Then it is possible…though whether even they are or not, some people question that.” Yukio isn’t sure either way, like everyone he questions why things happened this way. “Of course.” More like he just thinks Yuki is a good boy. Him? He’s not so sure of. “Trying is the best we can do. And we might achieve it by trying.” He kind of sighs. “I don’t really know about trying to find them all….there’s just certain places that it would bother me if he was watching.”
Yukio would never tell his brother a lie like that. Death doesn’t promise happiness and neither does life, but during life you can try for it and possibly get it. Once you die? You don’t get that chance anymore. “I told you I can’t promise that. That still hasn’t changed. But I’ll try.” He has about the same feelings for Yuki. Yuki shouldn’t be punished when a master made him go with something he had to read when the master knew he was dyslexic. That still makes him so mad when thinks about it so he pushes it away as quick as possible. “I don’t think so. Unless you’re too proud. I think the sin part comes in when you think you’re better than a person because of something you can do that they can’t.” People have different abilities. That’s the way they were made. Some people have some abilities while others don’t, but they have different abilities. “That’s the way humans are. We like having names for things and once they have names, the judging starts. Though it isn’t right.” He’s just looking at his brother. Yukio understood that part, but it doesn’t matter now. They’re away from that now. “Just because someone says it, doesn’t make it true Yuki.” He says softly. It just makes him so sad inside that it actually hurts when Yuki says things like this. He always tries to keep Yuki from noticing that though. He wants his brother to tell him the truth, how he feels and all even if it does hurt Yukio to hear it. Yukio nuzzles back a bit. “You were made a certain way.” Dyslexic. “And so certain things don’t come as easy, but people shouldn’t be focusing on just that section. You can do other things very well.” Some abilities that Yuki doesn’t get to show off or anything really. Yukio chuckles a bit. “That would be nice.” He doesn’t like jumping every single time he hears it. “Less than an hour by ten minutes.” He looks at Yuki a bit. “I could be wrong. There could be more people.” Yuki knows that fear. He overcame it somehow and so can help his brother with his fear. Otherwise they’d both be freaking out a bit a night. “Yes, and I’ll never be leaving.” “I think….the design is nice.” But then again, sometimes Yukio likes weird things. He just smiles while his brother explains the symbols and pushes/pulls the switches. “And I said we all have abilities. There’s one of yours.” Yuki might not be able to read perfectly, but his brain works fairly well apparently. After the door opens, he follows his brother through the forgotten garden. “You’re a good person.” A random comment in reply to what Yuki said. Yuki jumps a bit as the voice comes again. That intercom thing is getting a bit annoying even if it is convenient. “Come, brother, the master is calling.” He goes over and takes his brother’s hand, heading back the way they came. Luckily, Yuki remembers the short trips they’ve made. It would be bad to be lost so soon. He leads them back to the main hall and bows a bit to the man from earlier when he sees him. Though he still isn’t too fond, to say the least, of that other one. |
Yuki smiled hearing what his brother said and nodded “One day we can be like butterfly’s and come from our cocoons, even if it's only for a short time right?” his voice sounding hopeful as he spoke, he wanted to feel like there was more than what they had been put through all their life, that they could live like many others did in a privileged life not one in servitude bowing to everyone else's will. “I believe in the divine, if I didn't then I'm sure we would have been pulled apart by now and given to separate masters” he shook a little at such a dreadful thought, he couldn't even bare the thought of losing the one who cared for him when everyone else seemed to have forsaken him.
Hearing they where good boys for even trying to perfect what was asked of them was more than enough to keep him happy “I'm glad we are good boys, because good boys don't get punished” he say with a simple matter of a fact tone, but then this was the way they where raised to think, so it was no wonder that Yuki seen it as a black and white deal. Going back to the camera's he placed his hand to his lips thoughtfully “Bedroom and bathroom?” he say quietly before looking down, “I don't want to be watched in those area's but it's not for us to decided” he knew that for a fact and he accepted it. Hearing his brother's answer he knew it had been an open and closed case the first time but he blamed himself for many of the punishments and wounds his brother had received over the years and it weighed heavily on his mind as he felt like a burden to him. He moved his hand away from his mouth and looked down “Perhaps our first master was trying to better me by giving me such a task, forcing me to get better” he say innocently, he had always tried to reason it and that one seemed to be the most plausible of them all, however something deep inside him told him it wasn't the reason and began to feel sick as he thought about the punishment he had received that his brother didn't know about. Listening to the explanation to the pride of superbia (pride) he tilted his head a little “Does that mean our masters commit the sin of pride?” he whisper not wanting to get heard just in case he got heard and punished for an innocent observation “My abilities include, dancing, cooking, gardening, riddles and puzzles!” he exclaimed happily, he was proud of himself for the few things he did get right but made sure to keep in check as he knew pride could be a down fall if it wasn't. Hearing Yukio speaking he nodded “We are eta and so are not thought off as people but as property” he say showing he understood what his brother was saying, he closed his eyes believing that was all they ever would be even though he didn't like it, but as children they tried to fight their fate and all that happened was sever punishments, he lost his fight quickly on the matter. “But they are better than us, we need to listen to them” he say hugging his brother closely, it confused him how certain things they had to listen to while other things they could ignore, he just couldn't decipher the difference and so listened to everything, in doing so he easily got hurt by such words, thought giggled as he was nuzzled he was happy as long as Yukio was there to help him understand things “I try really hard that is good, but reading is really hard and I don't write well either” he say remembering the last time he tried to write his name and it taking him several hours and was still illegible. He smiled happily hearing Yukio thought it was a good idea too “Perhaps we can talk to master and he'll do it?” he say but look down and shook his head realizing how stupid he just made himself seem “It's not our place to question master or think of how to make it easier for us... pay no mind” he say with a low tone, just contently hugging him “Fifty minutes is less than one hour by ten minutes, ten minutes is six hundred seconds” he say trying to clarify it into his head, and mimed it several times so he would remember “I don't think there are any others, we would have came across at least a few others by now” he say honestly scooting closer. Yukio looked up and smiled “I'm glad, I'd be lost without you” he say, his eyes showed he couldn't live without his brother's head and just by how he clinged to him proved this beyond a reasonable doubt. “The corridor is still scary wither it is designed well or not, it is eerie” he say with a small voice he didn't like places that where dimly lit and small it made him feel uneasy, hearing his brother saying about his abilities he smiled a little “It was nothing more than a riddle” he say in a small tone looking around the garden “Your a good person too Yukio, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be like I was” he say replying to the compliment with one of of his own. Hearing the voice again he jamp letting out a yelp as he landed on his ankle “Y-Yukio” he whimper limping a little nodding “Yes, we mustn't make master wait” he say moving behind his brother closing the door behind him resetting the switches so the secret garden could remain just that until they got it ready for their master. Getting to the main hall he bowed quietly trying to flatten his foot but winced so kept pressure from it following Yukio he sat down but pushed the food and the drink away from him lowering his head closing his eyes. He was lactose intolerant and he didn't drink fizzy drinks as it gave him hiccups, but he remained quiet. After a moment he opened his eyes and looked to the one that seemed to mix his languages for a minute he tilted his head for a moment, opening his mouth as if he was going to ask him a question but closed his mouth quickly as he did his eyes and tipped his head down, he was scared and didn't want to bother anyone with questions especially with ones that could be classed as stupid ones. |
Eric assumed there was something wrong with the two since they lacked the interest in the pizza. He wanted to know why, but didn't mind anyway since he could easily eat one large for all his meals for a day. He soon learned about a lactose allergy and a few other things since he brought out the shopping list as well. He wondered if the other twin was going to at least try it out though seeing as he was the only one who didn't have an allergy or was against semi-greasy foods.
He easily cleaned up three slices of the pizza in the single one hour sitting since they decided to bond a little. He decided he would let them try and read off the list but if they had any issues to ask him what it was or something of those lines. After he was done, the rest was pushed aside a bit as he got up. He waited for the others to get ready to go out as he would wait at the front for them. He would pick up things to accommodate all of their tastes in food since he had enough money to do so and he didn't want any of them to become sick. He waited until they all came out, ready for a drive to the grocery store with the list and he also added onto it as he asked what some of their favourites were. Once inside, he grabbed at least one cart. He would go back for more if they were needed. He let them read off the list, letting the dyslexic one try out first. When he got things wrong he would correct him by helping him out and get him to try out another word while the others went for those items that were said. He praised him when he did get them right eventually. He would need some practice but it would become easier when he got used to the common items on the list. Eventually there were two cartfuls of food. Once at the checkout, it took at least 30-45 minutes to ring everything through and to pay for it all. He brought his cash instead of a debit or credit card as it was usually quicker to pay that way. Once that was done, the car would be packed up, having some groceries in the back with the staff. Once home he helped them put things away and let them help themselves to any of the easy things to make if they were not pre-made. Especially since they mostly hadn't eaten. He walked back to the other room and finished off the 2L of Pepsi before bringing the pizzas back to be wrapped up and placed in the spare fridge. It was basically a mini fridge to fit already used things and leftovers. It held enough room to put all that in and a full turkey dinner or something. Once that was all done he allowed them to eat and do what they wished before handing them the schedule to be up by and things like that. He would assign the jobs tomorrow. |
Yuki looked up as he was asked about not eating the food and drink that had been provided he remained silent for a long moment “I can't eat cheese I'm lactose intolerant” he say with a small voice not raising his head, he felt a little to open for his licking bit he knew there was nothing that could be done as it had been their owner who asked the question. “Fizzy drinks give me hiccups. Besides Yukio and I have never ever been allowed such things” he say honestly again his voice was small as he spoke.
His eyes moved to Christopher “Why do you mix languages?” he ask his voice showing he wasn't meaning it is an insult, it was more out of curiosity. Being handed something he looked at the words then to Yukio with a worried expression, he placed the piece of paper down after looking at it again for five minutes “I can't read that the words are to difficult” he shook a little trying to keep tears from falling, he was concerned that he would get into trouble for not being able to read so well. Seeing their master stand and move out of the main hall, he stood and began to clear away the table without a word leaving the drink there as he seen others where still drinking, he placed his pieces of pizza's in some film and placed it into the fridge. And cleaned the plates that weren’t still being used as well as his own glass, drying them he danced around the kitchen a little as he tried to figure out where the plates, glasses and cutlery where placed. Finding each place he put away everything happy that he done something good. He tried to think what his favourite foods where but in truth Yukio and himself had never really been given anything but plain foods that where high in nutrition and where filling in small amounts, sighing he closed his eyes “Much different” he whispered to himself drying off the worktop. When he was finished he moved to the front door where the master would be waiting, stopping he bowed “I am sorry I made you wait master” he say with a small tone, his eyes looking for his brother as he felt scared. Getting into the car he hugged close to Yukio being in a confined place scared him enough without two people he didn't know and one of them being his owner. He seemed more like a scared child than a teenager; closing his eyes he mimed words you a song he often heard their mother sing when they where growing, how he wished that she would have taken the time to sing to them, he realized at a young age that it would never happened, they where children of rape and they where different visually from others so it put them at a disadvantage from the get go. Getting out the car when it stopped he looked to the name of the store but it just looked like a bunch of squiggles to him and he already felt his heart sinking as he moved into the store making sure not to move to far from his brother. Taking out the list he looked at the words, he tried to sound out dome of the words but they did seem right. Shaking a little remembering what his past had been like “Y-Yukio...” he whimper holding up the list “Lentils?” he say curious if he got it right, what had actually been written was 'potatoes' Yuki walked about collecting the items as he was helped, he felt so bad that he needed so much help for something so simple, after forty-five minutes he walked to the counter and remained quiet as he helped to pack things away. Again on the way back he done the exact same thing hugging into Yukio, a small yawn escaping his lips, after finished he looked down “Sorry” he'd whisper believing he was being a bad boy for being tired in the master's presence but then he normally started to get tired about this time of day. When they got 'home' he got out and began to help get the shopping into the house, helping to unpack, placing things away when they got home. Hearing they where allowed to make something to eat, he went to get some rice, soya sauce, vegetables and a little chicken “Yukio, you want stir-fry?” he ask going to get some seasoning and a few eggs beginning to cook happily, this was proved as he hummed and danced around contently getting some tea made also. After twenty five minutes he placed three plates down on the table that had egg and chicken fried rice and steamed vegetables. How he made it look healthy as it didn't look greasy in the least bit. Placing the teapot and three cups afterwards, quietly he sat down a smile on his face “I hope you both enjoy” he say taking a bite he made sure that he made more than what was required in case their master wanted some, but he had been careful on how he seasoned it. Putting his hand out he take the soya sauce and place a little on his food before taking another bite. |
Christophe had his face looking downwards towards the flooring, he wasn't unwell he just did not feel the need to talk at the moment until he heard a question from his new master, he looked up, his right hand was cuddling the feather rock on his necklace as he looked over at Yuki...listening to the other before waiting to speak himself...being respectful. Once he got his turn he spoke, " Je deteste Obesé foods...anything that est pre-baked or already cooked quand acheté...It was consider a luxurie in my past 'homes' so It was something I've learned detester...Monsieur..." Christophe said truthfully as he stared at his master...Christophe had neither a smile nor a frown on his face...just a blank...straight face. Christophe soon felt a set of eyes upon him...and his master's eyes as well...but than heard the bilingual question from Yuki, he turned towards him, his hand still cuddling his necklace, " I habité en France...but I learned lire englis'...but speaking est difficult..." Christophe told Yuki with the same face as he stared at him for a second before looking back towards his drink. Christophe soon saw his master had Yuki a list. Since he was nosy he learned back slightly and saw several words on it...it was a shopping list but soon saw the other react badly...he mustn't be able to read quite well..."C'est list de shopping..." Christophe advised the other with a small smile, reassuring him at least that it was okay. Christophe soon noticed that his new master stood up, and move out of the room. He blinked slightly before taking a sip of his drink...he didn't much enjoyed it. After a couple of minutes Christophe followed into the kitchen...just as the other was placing the items away, he said nothing as he quickly washed and dried the plate and glass before placing them away in their respected cupboard. Once he returned to the room and listened to what the master had said Christophe thought for a moment before speaking, "Um...Apples, Monsieur?" Christophe spoke out as he remembered his enslavement for a year in the Lorie Valley, France...he loved the apples that grew in the area. After a few moments Christophe was soon drected towards the front door alongside his new master...it was tme to go shoppng for it seems that there s no food currently in the house....that wasn't bought from a freckily old teenager looking for work money while riding a scooter to each destination. Christophe made no noise once Yuki joined them. Once they were brought to the large car and once they got in they were driven...by their new master towards a large convenient store with the name in writing notable unreadable of today's generation. Christophe did not speak on the journey but noticed how clingy Yuki was...but did not say anything. Once they got into the store Christophe didn't strain too far away from the others, and when Yuki tried to read the list Christophe blinked several times before whispering to him, "Potatoes..." He said as he noticed the word on the list that was the cause of the trouble. They're journey collecting the other foods as well was an eventful as well...and once they were finally finished after three quatres of an hour, they had filled two trolleies Christophe believed. He helped pack them away as the food was being paid for before they packed the car and went back 'home'. Once they reached the new home of the three new servants Christophe helped to unpack the grocers and went and placed them n their approiate places, and once he was told on what they can do Christophe smiled slightly as he grabbed an apple before he began to eat it, leaning against the counter, staring at the others for a few seconds before he began to eat again, smiling slightly before he looked down. After a period of nearly a half an hour he had eatten the apple and just sat down at the time, looking down slghtly as the other dished up some food for the three of them and tea also..."Merci Beaucoup...." Christophe thanked as he tried the str-fry, he smiled it tasted really good...fresh as well. |
“Yes, that’s the goal.” Or to be like that for longer, whichever can be achieved. That, and his brother are the only reasons Yukio hasn’t fallen into the abyss called depression. “I question things sometimes, but the divine is there.” He may question whether the divine are actually active in the world nowadays, but they are still there, watching if nothing else. Yukio smiles a bit at the way his brother thinks. At times he wishes he thought like that, but he finds it hard if not impossible to do so. “I still plan on looking for them though.” And try to cover them up or something, especially in the bathroom, but he may never find them.
“Then he had no clue how humans work. Most would be discouraged by that and give up which would take away any chance of getting any better.” It’s true. The way that master did it, most would give into despair and give up. And that’s another reason that master’s methods make him so angry. And if Yukio did know about that punishment…..he’d probably have even more dislike for that master. “Some probably do. Those who forget that we are also humans….even if not of the same station…sometimes I wonder.” Yukio isn’t bothering being quiet, but he isn’t being loud either. He isn’t that stupid at least. But then again, he isn’t really saying anything against anyone in particular. He chuckles and smiles a bit as Yuki lists his abilities. “Mmm…I don’t know about that really. Better? Not necessarily. More powerful? Yes. And they may be better. They may not be.” It’s hard to judge if someone is better than someone else in this world. He has his arms wrapped around Yuki. “But those are things you can learn over time.” Even if it may take him a long time. “Some things you can’t learn” “We’ll just have to wait and see if he’ll do anything.” Neither of them know anything about this master. He may be against helping them do this and want them to do it on their own time if they have any. “That’s right.” He just says softly as Yuki clarifies for himself. “I think so too…” But they haven’t seen the entire place yet either. “I think it would be scarier if the torches didn’t light up at all.” If it was pitch black in there, Yukio’s little past fear of the dark might come back. “Yes, but still an ability.” He says simply. Yukio smiles a bit. “You might be the same without me. You might be different. We can’t truly know since that isn’t going to happen and hasn’t happened, but thank you.” He watches Yuki a bit as they walked, worried a bit at the limping. He looks around a bit when they get to eating, knowing his brother is lactose intolerant, but sadly every pizza in the universe pretty much has cheese on it. Yukio feels kind of weird about eating since no one else is, but it would be impolite not to eat since he doesn’t have an allergy or anything to this type of food. So he eats a slice or two. He’ll try and find something later for his brother. He has no idea when or where, but he’ll try to find something for Yuki. Yukio has also been wondering about the mix languages too, but it annoys him at the same time. He doesn’t know the language and so it annoys him to not know what the other is saying. He could be saying horrible/perverted things. Well, not yet hopefully since he hasn’t said much actually. Yukio just has a problem about not being able to understand what people are saying or writing...since he needs to understand in case his brother needs some back up. After Yuki admits the reading thing, he gets prepared (mentally) to try and deflect punishment. Once he starts shaking, Yukio pulls him over a bit-hugging him to try and stop the shaking. He follows after Yuki with his plates and things doing the same. “It doesn’t matter. If it’s edible…I’ll eat it.” And sometimes when it isn’t edible. Depends on the master on that one…though he’s never told Yuki about that one. To tell you the truth, Yukio doesn’t really have favorite foods. If it is edible, he will eat it. That’s the way he rolls. He doesn’t have any allergies to his knowledge and so he’ll eat anything. When Yuki looks for him, he just takes his brother’s hand. He gets in the car with Yuki and as the other clings/hugs close to him, he just wraps an arm around him, watching the other. Yukio actually refuses to think of how they came to be. It makes dark thoughts for him and he’d rather just keep that away for now. At the question, he must correct his brother. “It’s potatoes…” And he tries to explain the syllabals to him a bit, quietly so the others don’t hear. He helps his brother get the items since he might need it. On the way back, he kind of pets Yuki. If the master did say something about Yuki yawning, he would defend his brother since yawning only means tired. It doesn’t mean quitting for the day. He helps to unpack as well. It’s part of the “job” description…and he isn’t big on making waves today. It’s a little bit early for that personally. His stomach grumbles at the mention of stir fry. Sure, he ate a slice or two of pizza, to be polite, but it just didn’t do anything or fill him up. He just smiles as he watches his brother cook. It makes him happy to see his brother happy, even if it is only temporary. Yukio puts a bit of soy sauce on his food. Drowning the food in soy sauce is a bad idea. It’s for added flavor….not to drown other flavors out. And so he starts munching. In his world, the best way to show you like the food…is to eat most/all of it. |
Eric was happy to try out the food as he sampled the stir fry. Maybe he could assign their jobs now. He was relieved that one of them was at least good in the kitchen but needed someone else in case one of them got sick or couldn't work. He left for a moment, heading to the office in the house as he came back with the three job application forms. He lay them in front of the boys and held out a pen for each of them. "I figure it's better to do this much now. Choose wisely."
He waited for them to choose a job specifically for them, wondering who would take the cook position. "Now if any of you end up sick or unable to work for a day or something that is what the second line in the application is for. Substituting for whoever's main job it will be." He explained that if one of them got sick then one of the other two who would have the job in their second choice would become that worker for the amount of time necessary. He waited around until the forms were filled in. He would stop by later to give them the appropriate attire for their jobs they will have chosen. "You will have frequent 15 minute breaks each day. Feel free to use the pool, game room and other entertainment devices in here." He said sweetly as he was an all around nice person. He believed befriending the staff would always make things better and so always treated them as friends. He even did that when he used to live here with his mother. |
