So I was hanging out with a friend today and her hubby was letting me listen to some of his music and then he showed me Hatsune Miku.. The 100% solid 3D hologram...

My jaw dropped and I was like those damn Japanese...lmao.

The voices are digitally made.. Theres different characters/singers too.

It's just so fascinating.
I've seen the second link before, but I never really knew what it was.

I'm not much of a fan of the music, it's too high pitched for my taste, but the graphics are fantastic.
I would have guessed it was projected onto a screen in the back or something.

There are two lights that you see behind her that makes her image..

NO MATTER WHAT...THE JAPANESE WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD WITH THEIR AMAZING TECHNOLOGY.
And other skills no else can develop.

hehe I love vocaloids. I want to see Miku and the gang in concert I saw some vids before and I really want to see them.

My favorite Vocaloids are Luka, Rin, Len & Gakupo.. Oh and Neru who doesn't really have her own voice yet.. she's just there x3 She had her own voice in the PSP game "Hatsune Miku 2nd Diva Project"

But yea, the Japanese are amazing and their tecnology rocks.

The first time I looked up Hatsune Miku there was a little blurp about her in McClean's and it was shocking...Although once I got over the shock the music isn't half-bad.

these japanese inventions... they are crazy! but at the same time they are soo awesome!

I'd go Vocaloids over Kyari Pamyu Pamyu any day. -shudder-

I'm quite the vocaloid fan myself. I prefer to listen to the more gory/dark/sad songs as well as songs that have a more "old" instrumentation or which are dramatic. I love most of the songs from the 7 deadly sins series of songs, especially Judgement of Corruption, Conchita and Daughter of Evil because the instrumentation of the songs are extremely good (in my opinion).

I also like the more rockier songs a lot, as well as the dramatic/story-line ones.

I think my most recent vocaloid song is/was Crazy Night.

Also, while the voices are digitally made they are actually from different voice actors, one of the vocaloids even got his voice sample from an actual singer.

I got into vocaloids after finding the song Alice Human Sacrifice on youtube by coincidences. At first I thought it was an anime and tried finding the series xD.

you should def check out more of them, like lily, megurine luka, gakupo etc etc
