seriously??! I will have to hunt this bad boy down online afterwards...though...not to be a party pooper, this should probably have gone in the anime/cartoons section. Not that I'm not suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper excited to see this. Im vastly entertained my childhood is following me...now if they'd remake Jem and the Holograms...lol

I actually had no idea that there was going to be a new series. I was eating dinner and watching that Firebreather (I think that's what it's called) movie and saw the commercials for the new Thundercats. It looked interesting so I decided to watch that as well. I really liked it. =D The animation and characters looked really cool.

Okay, watched it and won't spoiler any one...but holy CARP I like the Lion-o of this series waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the one of the old. Old school Liono was a whiney li'l brat IMO. And I looooooooooooooooooooove the thunderkittens!!! and thank GOD Okay, lied about the spoiler, but seriously, best idea ever!

I'm liking the new series as well. Snarf with his pig face is no more! He's now a cute furball that I just want to hug! <3

I watched the premier yesterday with my family. We had it recorded on the DVR. It wasn't bad at all! I like the story so far. There's only one thing that bugged me; Panthro! They matched most of the characters art wise, so why couldn't they do the same for him? He looks nothing like the original one. I didn't know it was Panthro when they showed his picture!

I dunno, I like the redesign for panthro, he was always older and a bit more...uhm...'crusty' in the original than I felt his image really gave credence too. But I'm waiting to see Pumyra and Bengali...I did so love Lynxo's cameo on the guard tower :D

'he' was shown in the first double episode...but it was a trap!

I know, I love the twins this go-round...can't wait to see what races/characters we get next. wonder if they're going to have the amazons this time....

I was too young to really remember anything when I watched the original show. Although I thought the Thundercats were an independant group...well like I said I was really young. The video looks AWESOME! Music is alsoa plus hehe.

yeah, I do have to say I like the music in the new one too...and I'm enjoying that we're getting LOT better costumes for them this go around. I really wish I had a set of kids to dress as Kit and Katt...I'm a terrible adult LOL

yeah, just don't have kids for it...the one I had 'rights' to dress is now as tall as me. And while I'm not that tall I'm still too tall for it to work. anyone wanna loan me their kids?

I agree about Kit and Kat. I like the new style for them much more than the old style! They're so cute and have more of a role. I like them so much I might cosplay as one them during the next convention. lol

I love the Duelist and the Drifter. So far one of my favorites ^_^

I only recently heard there was a new Thundercats, like a month ago, and I liked what I saw, I grew up on the original, so seeing something old and enw was fun for me.

Unfortunately I think the season might be over. But at least I have Young Justice and Generator Rex to keep me busy till then.

I prefer the original ThunderCats, so I did not give the newer one a chance. Both the original and the newer one were animated in Japan, unless I am mistaken. But I prefer the hand drawn original animation, over the modern animation.

I also prefer the character design in the original ThunderCats, over the newer ThunderCats.

The original Thudercats was an American based production. It was made by the same group that made Silverhawks(which I always knew was just Thundercats in space LMAO). And while I do love the original I gave the newer one a fair shake, it's pretty stand alone.

Heres an awesome little tidbit about the first episode, if you thought the scene where Lion-O's father did the call of the Thundercats sounded familiar you would be right because Lion-O's father is the original Lion-O.

Haven't seen the new series through I am sure they are showing it here. So I don't judge it against the 80's version -I am a huge 80's toons fan- till I get to watch an episode and get my own opinion.
