*several tables are lined up and a single large oven has been dragged in under a make-shift tent. a cauldren of soup bubbles in the fire next to the oven and a mish-mash of 'borrowed' bowls and spoons sit at a table. a single girl messes with something in the oven*


oh! hello sweetie, come in^^ the soup is a little hot but the bread is perfect<3 i serve both sides as some of you serve both sides so keep the brawling outside *taps glasses*

After several rough battles out on the field, Nightmare decided it would be best for a break. Upon entering the tent, she glanced around, noticing people sitting from both sides of the fight relaxing while having some soup. A soft sigh escaped her mouth as she walked over to one of the empty benches and sat, removing thoughts of the battle so far from her head as to focus on what mattered : Food.

*brings over soup and bread and a small jar* oh sweetie, are you ok? you look tired *offers food first then medicine* for the hip wound, it will start to be felt soon if you don't fix it now

Nightmare watched as she was brought over something to eat. She smiled softly, having been desperate for something to eat. She was beat up from battle so far, having almost nearly been killed out on the battle field. After being giving the food, she was offered medicine, and she listened to what the woman had to say. "Hip wound?" she said, obviously unaware she had one. Looking down to her hip, she noticed it bleeding. She sighed softly. "Thank you, Miss." she spoke as she took the medicine, "I should have been more aware out there. The battles have been quite rough..."

Cracking her neck Sarah walked over to the nearest tent and entered, one she heard was supposedly neutral in the war but evidently served a good stew. looking around she noticed only a few people had come to the tent so far "guess there isn't many here yet" she mumbled to herself before taking a seat second nearest the fired hearth where the pot with what she thought to be stew was cooking and a woman (girl?) was standing over it. sarah noticed the woman hadn't noticed her enter yet, so she patiently waited her to finish serving the other person "hello" she said warmly to the girl as she passed by

it's ok sweetie, from the looks of you i wouldn't think you'd notice anything other than the general wariness of battle *shudders* some of us are not meant to figh but most of us will anyway, now if you excuse me i see a recruit who has yet to find this out *she wanders over to the other girl*

"You are quite right about that..." Nightmare said, watching her walk off. Night had never been a fighter; she more did it only to protect what she thought was right. Looking down at the soup and bread placed in front of her, she began to eat, thoughts of battle racing back into her mind.

Sadrain quietly walked in and sat down on one of the stools. Her face showed sorrow and she wrapped her arms around her self, hanging head low. She wanted to take a break from the chaos outside.
Why wherever she went there was blood, war... She had deserted from army last time, would she need to do it again? If she could avoid chosing a side, battling, she would do, but every single person was involved... it was horrible.

*cho begain to cry as the newest girl came in. the sadness radiating from the girl was almost strong enough to be magical in origin* -sniffle- oh my...*she searched around for a while finally finding a small rainbow colored vial*

Sadrain raised her head, her eyes, like black glass, met a pair of silver ones, behind glasses and she looked away quickly. She felt awkward, seeing the girl cry, yet, she was too sad on her own to go and comfort her, so with soft sigh, the girl stood up and turned towards exit.

no wait! *the girl got up to leave as cho turned towards her with the vial* please don't go just yet

Rain's eyebrows raised slightly and she stepped back slightly, in surprise, but did not leave just yet. "Um, is there anything I can help you with?" she asked softly.

no but i think i can help you

*she took the girl's hand and put the glass in it*

there is no magic in the world that can fix a heart but if you would se it this can help ease a little of the burden

*she smiled sadly* it is a memory jar, it can hold a memory, usually people only put sad memories in it to hide them away but i think you may do well to have a little hope instead

*cho leaned down and kissed the vial. it glowed warm and bright in the girl's hand*

i have nothing else to give you sweetie but hopefully it is enough, you need it more than i afterall

*she stepped back looking a little more tired than before*

whenever you find the despair to be too much open the jar just a bit and my sweetest memory will play for you, be careful though like a memory in the mind a memory in the jar will fade from disuse and warp from overuse, if it breaks bring it back to me please

*she then turned and went back to her pot*

"I..." Sadrain looked bewildered at the strange girl. Then a sad smile spread across her face. "You must be one of kindest people I have ever met, and I thank you for your thought, but I cannot accept your generous gift." She carefully placed the bottle back in dark skinned girl's hand.

"I am a spirit, a ghost, and my pain, my sorrow is the price I must pay for my eternal existence. I cannot escape it or sweeten it, especially not a war torn realm such as this. I would hate to take something that would help someone else so much more, and maybe even take your own memories from you."

sweetie, i think you don't understand, you came here for this and this alone<3 *cho toses the vial back at the girl as the mess hall flickered in and out of exsistance* you can't give it back until you are finished with it *she smiled as she and the entire mess disapeared*

Sadrain stood there, her face showing all the confusion she had, but without her conscious notice, her fingers grasped the vial tighter, as if it was her last tie with something precious.

*cho vomited in the nearest bucket as the mess materialized into a physical plane once more* oh jeez, i really -hate- when we relocate ^^: *she wanders outside to see where she was now* ......well, at least we are near water though not for long i guess if another person like the last shows up *she shrugged to herself* oh well that's my lot *she went back in to clean up the mess and make sure the pie in the oven hadn't been ruined*

(I forgot what race I was for the fight HAHA!)

The white figure made it's presence into the large room. Covered in white and gold detailed clothing on her milky skin, she makes her way to an abandoned table and grabs a napkin to wipe the blood off her hands. "What pointlessness," she mumbles as she tosses it aside and reaches for a piece of bread to shove into her starving stomach.

*cho turned to the new guest* woah, i almost didn't see you *she chuckled at her own private joke*

here, *she pulls out a canister of oil* you are looking a little dull there, how is it going outside *she handed over the tin and sat down*

Her blue eyes glanced over at the owner with a hazed look within them. She gave an almost emotionless smile as she took the offering and nodded in thanks. "It's a bloody mess," the woman adds in with her own kind of humor. "A useless, bloody mess."

aren't all fights so? the only thing it does is cull the population and add to the pockets of the preists and holymen

The small, foxlike girl padded in slowly, peeking around the place wary and confused as she hugged to herself. Biting lightly on one lip her jade eyes darted around to count up the people in there, before she relaxed except her tail, which the fur was raised on. "O..oh.. uhm.. h..h..hello.."

*she lookes over from where she is sitting* hello sweetie, there is a bit of onigiri by the oven if you'd like it^^ it has fried tofu on it*

This time her smile was a bit more sincere. "I agree. But what are we to decide what other's do or think." The question was a mere statement of her own thoughts as she had begin wiping a thin layer of oil on her sword with a cloth as pale as her. "You can call me M, if you wish. And thank you for the hospitality. It's hard to find these days."

The girl just shook her head lightly, she slid off her masks and left them on a table, jade eyes huge as she just pulled her knees in up to her chest, eyes shutting tiredly and she murred, her tail folding over herself. "I....I am.... fine.."

*she smiled* everyone needs something even if it's only a sympathetic ear *she stood up and looked over at the small creature at the other table* oh! has miss m ever had red current pie? it should be done by now^^

M's eyes widened at the sudden outburst about pie, but she soon returns to caring for her sword and nibbling at the bread before her.

*cho felt bad about using the woman m to get through to the little creature but it needed to be done so as not to scare the child away before she could find out what it needed* little miss, could you help me for a moment *she wandered over to the oven* i need another hand with this and my friend over there is very busy

Her eyes perked up as she nodded padding over to her as she tilted her head to one side, confused as she gazed up, biting on her lip. Her soft, mostly white ears perked forward as she awaited instructions.

ok so you grab one side of the pie and will take the other and the bottom, it's much bigger than a regular pie and very heavy *she smiled softly even as a familiar tingle took up in the back of her head* ~oh i think i see~ she though

*Carefully the small girl grabbed onto the pie with her gloves, blinking to the lady slight interest, her tail perked up higher before she focused back on her grip on the pie.*

*slowly the massive pie slid out as the two pulled together* oh it does look good

*Her gaze stayed focused on keeping the it up, yet her oversized mostly white tail just wagged back and forth as she steadied herself, she opened her mouth and started to hesitate before she murmured.* "U..uhm.. wh..where shall we.. set it..?

oh, haha, we can put it on that table over there *she inclined her head*

*Nodded as she slowly started to pad to the table, making sure to keep her grip strong*

*slowly they hefted it onto the table* woo, there^^ that was kinda hard, as a thankyou sweetie can have this *she handed a small package to the creature and went over to the bowels* and of course some pie~<3

*Tilted her head confused as she blinked down at the package, she frowned slightly but nodded, padding away from the pie she just curled up back in the corner, hugging the package as her eyes shut sleepy*
