Oh, I fail at genres. XD I listen to what appeals to my ears, no matter what genre. I suppose rap's not really my thing, or too girly music, but who knows, there might be some gems among them, too.

Let's see.... My favorite bands are Nightwish, Moonspell, The Cruxhsadows, Within Temptation, Qntal, Helium Vola. I love singer Emilie Autumn, Gregorians are awesome.
I like about 1/5 of Scorpions music.

My favorite songs... That's hard to pick. There are artists that I love/fav nearly everything from. From Moonspell, I like "Scorpion Flower", "Wolfshade", "Than Serpent in my Arms" and "Capricorn at Her Feet" the best. Those are one of my current favorite songs overall.
I have random favorites like "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum, "Leave out all the rest" by Linkin Park and some other.

Like mentioned below, I also enjoy classical music, purely instrumental music as well. My favorite music instrument is pan flute (but I also love guitar a lot) and I have some CDs with it that I listen a lot to. C: "Zorba" sounds gorgeous when played on pan flute. -purrs-

Favorite genre: Classic rock, 60s, folk-rock/folk, 70s rock, British Invasion.

Older music just appeals to me more than the newer stuff. I like the older sound, the fact that the music and lyrics both sound like they were trying a little harder than bands today do. I've been listening to this music all my life because I never had control of the radio dial and it's what my mother listens to, but I didn't realize exactly what my tastes were until I was about twelve years old and Pink Floyd became my favorite band. After that, I started exclusively listening to older music and now I know more songs from the 60s/70s than my mother even does.

Favorite artists: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, the Who, Elton John, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Don McLean, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, John Lennon, The Eagles, Cream, The Moody Blues, Queen, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix.

Favorite songs: That's like, impossible for me to figure out. The closest I can get to answering this is to list the top five songs on my iTunes, which are

MUSIC! I love music! Okay lets see... I like all rock and Metal. My favorite band is Bullet For My Valentine and song is The Last Fight. I'll try and narrow down the rest: City - Hollywood Undead, Ain't No Rest For The Wicked - Cage The Elephant, Disasterpiece - Slipknot, Not Good Enough - Escape The Fate, The Kill - 30 Seconds To Mars, Ready Steady Go - La'Arc~en~Ciel and Extacy - DJ Tiesto... phew that's a lot of typing. O_O

I enjoy anything that is not country or rap.

I honestly love EVERY genre. There's not a single one that doesn't have a song I like lol.

My favorite artist right now is "Drake". Yea yea, the kid who was on degrassi that's now this huge rapper. Next up is my fav band... POMPLAMOOSE.

It's so hard to choose D: it's easier to say which styles I don't like... I'm not really in to country or jazz, apart from that I like anything >.< I particularly like goth rock from the 70s/80s and other darkwave/punk/electro style things... Fave bands and songs are a little trickier still, just, way way too many

I LOVE Nightwish, Apocalyptica, and Within Temptation. I've grown tired of American and Japanese music for a while. However, I'm finding myself more interested in Enka ever since Jero came into the scene.

I don't have a favorite genre, I like pretty much everything. My favorite band at the moment would probably be Skillet. Flyleaf, thousand foot krutch, evanescence, 3 doors down, and others make the list as well. I also listen to bobby horton (songs from the civil war) when I'm reenacting, and I listen toa decent amount of the mediaeval baebes. Celtic folk songs are nice too sometimes

I love it, it gets me [pumped and what not, and the guitar + bass are sooo smexay. x3 I've been listening to rock/metal for around 5 years now, starting in 6th grade with Paramore. xD

I don't have a favourite genre really. I listen to most typed of music, although I'm not really into hip-hop/rap or country. Not all of it's bad though. I'm not closed-minded about my music tastes.

The list of musicians I listen to though is really long. I have like 40GB of music on my computer. And yes, I listen to all of it. xD

I prefer to listen to somewhat hard rock, but I like alternative sometimes. My favorite bands are Disturbed and 10 Years and Seether. I also enjoy Eminem, though, and Lady Gaga.

I listen to a little bit of everything. Except country. I hate country. (sorry, country fans! ^^;)

I love The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Pink Floyd, Lady Gaga (Yes, really XP), Daft Punk, The Gorillaz, ummmm.... A Perfect Circle, Yasunori Mitsuda (especially his work on Chrono Cross)... that's all I can think of for now. XP

And some of my favorite songs are Float On, 3 Libras, Cello Solo no. 1 (that's by Bach), Telephone, I'm Only Sleeping, Moonlight Sonata, Blackbird, Rhinestone Eyes, the ENTIRE Chrono Cross soundtrack (/nerd), and a bunch of other ones that I can't think of. XP

Oh man. Daft Punk is doing the soundtrack for Tron Legacy, too. I don't really want to see the movie but I bet the music is effing awesome.

You bet. XP I wish I could find it on DVD. It's a fun movie to watch, and the animation's really stellar (pardon the pun. XP)

Almost two years now, and I love it because of, just how different it is from everything else, and how beautiful it can be.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Album Leaf, Silver Mt. Zion, Metavari, Laura, Bowery Electric, Bark Psychosis, This Is Your Captain Speaking, This Will Destroy You... and quite a few others. I don't really dislike any bands in it.

My favorite genres are Metal and Rock.
I tend to stick with a small amount of bands and just listen to them a lot, rather than branch out and find a ton of bands I'll probably never listen to more than once.
