Trying a New Style!
 

My avatar at this moment is definitely a new style for me and it is something that I'm not used to, but I really like it. Right now, it is not looking as slutty as possible and is actually trying to look dressed! I admit it's a bit cluttered, but I like it right now.

Discuss: New styles, trying new styles, how they did or didn't work for you.

I... pretty much don't have a style? Unless you count dark avatars. I've just started trying out light colors. They're kinda startin' to work fer me.

my style...is hard to describe. I often do either dark avis or neon avis. sometimes I dress real slutty, and sometimes I'm very covered in clothes. I'm never overly cluttered, but I still often use a large number of items. but it all still ends up the same "style" somehow.
I rarely layer hair, which probably contributes to my style.

usually the fastest way for me to break my style is to use a light-skinned avi. if I use the Ursei Panda skin, or the Winter Royalty skin, or something similar, I almost never recognize myself on the forums.

I've always had a love for black and white avatars.

As for my style, it's usually limited to three or less colors but is most often very, very heavy on the layering.

I usually go overboard with color and pick at least three colors in addition to black and/or white. This one's White/Sky/Green/Teal/Black. :3

My style is weird, in my opinion.
I usually find one item to work around and base my avatar off it.
So my colors usually depend on what the item is - like my current.
I'm quite happy with my current, actually. ouo
It's a new color scheme along with some new layering techniques.

The color part. I have a tendency to always have to use black and white, but add three other colors. XD

Trisphee is nice and all, but the coding system isn't as
good as gaia yet. :c

I don't go on Gaia anymore, so you'll never see me there or change my avatar in general. I have 4mill sitting on my account doing nothing. xD

I love the layering on Trisphee, but the avatar glitches drives me crazy. I will take off an item, sit there for more than a minute, change tabs, and the item is back on my avatar. It just annoys me to have to take off an item a second time and another item is freaking out then. xD

it's not my fault I use Black/White/Color/Color/Color! almost every special item has either black or white in it. ;O; I have to match them!

My style is colors I love often with this darn tail and these horns. If it's clutter-looking, so be it. I prefer it as such. >|3

I dress because I like certain colors.

I've had the same avatar for a few months now because
Gaia decided to switch the layering so it doesn't look
right if I resave it. D:

My style is always just Black/White(and Silver)/color. Or two colors. But that rarely ever happens.

More than likely, the color's gonna be dark red...as if you couldn't tell.

My favourite colors are blue, green and white. BUT like an azure blue. can't /stand/ cyan. SO, I on't have many blue avis.
We need a darker blue. :>

A few weeks ago I tried out this one red/white/black combo with a badass cape that I thought was really cool..... I was later told that it looked like my avi had gotten dressed in the dark... I changed almost immediately after that.

my avi looks like she's colorblind half the time. XD that doesn't stop me! I think you should wear what you like, Reyo, even if someone else is a stuck-up prat who doesn't like your style.

I'm running out of time to buy the donation item that you pay for with aurums and I don't have enough aurum to buy one! I want it like crazy now because Lucid has given me inspiration to make an avvie with it!

I typically don't use backgrounds or like them with avatars, but I realllly like your avatar with the background.
It really pulls it all together. <3

My avatars usually are mostly black with whatever else. I usually just go into it blind and just add and remove things as individual items and hope that they match. xD

Yeah I'm not a fan of backgrounds either.

I almost never use backgrounds or companion items. there's an occasional adorable plushie/pet/something that I can work into my avatar, but usually I just don't like using them much.

I don't know what it is. I guess I just like not-knowing the dimensions of the avatar space. xD

EDIT: @Lucid; Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of companions either. They can be REALLY cute, but I just like my avatar. No extras.
